Ok don't expect any 5* luxury... But this hotel is definitely good for the price. To be honest I had no complaints at all during the 4 nights stay last december 2011. Ok this hotel is a little outdated like 99% of the hotels on Highway 192, but the room was clean, the shower was hot and had a good pressure and the bed was good, just like an average hotel bed.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the supply of fresh towels: only two small fresh towels a day. But like I said not bad at all for the price.

We actually were surprised by the hotel once we got there as the room was cleaner than we expected or as indicated by the walk to the room. There were a couple of disappointments but nothing one might not expect for $28 a night. Housekeeping did a great job and it appeared our room was fumigated before we got there so there were not bugs of any sort to be found. The room was very damp though, and we learned in a hurry to put the heat on for a couple of hours before bed and first thing in the morning. We did try and use the safe - with no luck. In fact, we locked some papers in there that we couldn't get out, but they weren't all that important so we had no problem waiting for maintenance to get them out. Never did make it work but nothing went missing from our room so I wasn't really worried about it. The shuttle service is terrible as indicated in past reviews. But you can buy a day pass on the bus for $4.50 which runs every 30 minutes from 6am to almost 11. No waits, not so crowded, you can come and go as you want and straight to the hotel. Bus stop is just half a block from the hotel. Our stay was much more enjoyable once we discovered the bus :)

The hotel was just ok. Nothing too bad to say and nothing good. The service is just what they propose for the price you pay. The only thing that was really bad was the shuttle to the parks that run always too full, with awful drivers and goes in times not very good (like, you arrive at universal at 11am). It has an wal mart in front, the rooms are old but not so bad, the pool seemed ok, NO BREAKFAST, cool people in the front desk and in maintenance.

Please make sure you make arrangements to purchase Disney tickets before arriving. I called a few weeks before my visit and the person who answered the phone at the hotel told me that they sell the Disney tickets at the hotel. He said I could "purchase" them once I arrived. When we arrived there on Christmas eve we were informed that in order to purchase the tickets we needed to sign up for a tour of a resort. Needless to say we were pissed! We had driven all day and now we had to find tickets at the last minute for the park on Christamas day. They directed us to their computers in the middle of the hallway and told us to buy them online or we could purchase them at the local walmart. There were people using the computers so we headed to the very crowded walmart nearby and stood in line to buy tickets for the park. When I called the desk to complain about the situation they tried to pretend that they didn't know anything. The person on the phone said that the people who sell the tickets inside their hotel is not affiliated with the hotel. Seriously! You don't know anything about the lies that they are telling your guests? I let him know that it's not a good idea to tell people that they offer discounted tickets unless they tell them upfront what they have to sign up for a time share demo. I've purchased tickets from the Disney website on several occasions and I would have done it again if they had been honest about it in the first place. The game room is 3 very old video games with a few half empty snack machines that will take your money. The good thing about this hotel is that the rooms are clean and it's cheap. Worth the price and I wouldn't have paid any more. If you only need a place to sleep then it's fine. I just couldn't get pass the lies.
