“Very nice stay, 2nd time here.”

This was our second stay here. First time we rented from Magical Memories. With them you have to go to their office first which can be a bit of a pain because they are not so close by. This time we rented through "Near To Disney Resorts" and was much easier as it was all online and they give clear instructions how to enter. My main concern was cleanliness but the place was spotless. It is a very charming looking place. We are family of 6 and were quite comfortable in our 3 bedrooom townhouse. Publix is right near by which is a big help. Will stay there on our next family visit to Disney. Only negative are the beds are a bit squeaky and the ac vents don't really close all the way in master bedroom. We had to use plastic bag and duct tape otherwise a bit freezing in there and you need the ac on especially for the upstairs rooms.

“Barely Ok ... Going downhill fast ... Stinky ...”

We stayed here in 2008 and again in 2011/12. In 2008 the unit we had was spotless, as was the clubhouse. We were very impressed in 2008, except for the rock-hard beds. Location is fairly close to Disney, about 20 minutes by car. But my husband likes a solid mattress, I was the one that was uncomfortable. So in 2011 we returned and stayed in December for 3 nights and again in January 2012 for five nights. Both units in 2011/12 were rather "tatty" to say the least ... carpets should be replaced, walls needed a fresh coat of paint. The club house was terrible. The carpet under the pool table was absolutely disgusting ... You know, carpet shampooers have been invented a while back ... Makes you wonder if they are taking proper care of the pool water ... When we arrived in December 2011 there was a terrible odor coming from the back end of the complex near the garbage bin. Not sure what that was about ... Because it was gone when we returned a week and a half later ... Its absence on the second stay made us wonder A LOT about what the heck that odor had been from, considering that the garbage bin was still there. On the bright side the pool area is still fairly nice. Same fake wicker furniture as 2008, and its a bit beaten up, but still served its purpose. There was a little bar that opened in the afternoon which sold beer, and we found that convenient. The units are individually owned, but most are managed by rental companies. So I think you can have variety in the condition of the units. All three times we used Advantage Vacation Homes. Not sure I will use them again. Probably won't stay at the Villas again due to an overall lack of cleanliness. On the positive side ... No bug bites. But again ... those beds were hard as rocks ...

Room Tip: Look for a better place to stay ...

“Great Golf Get-Away Vacation”

Some friends and I scheduled a five night stay at the resort in November 2011. The intent of the trip was to relax, enjoy the weather and play a little golf. I can tell you that the trip was a total success! The resort is very well manacured, clean and very close to not only a number of excellent golf courses but to all of Central Florida's attractions....Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios...etc.
Our unit in particular was very well kept, comfortable and roomy. The pool area is excellent as are the tennis courts and gym. The 24 - hour security is an added bonus...
I enjoyed the stay so much that I have scheduled another trip to the area with my family in January 2012...
I would highly recommend staying at the Villas at Seven Dwarfs Lane.

“104 Lodi Circle”

I learned a lot about renting a condo this time. The unit had no wi-fi and the TV channels were minimal. No ESPN to watch the bowl games. We rented directly from the owner for $100 per night plus taxes. It is an interior unit directly across from the guard house at the front gate. There are 3 bedrooms. Two are upstairs with a full bath. Both had twin beds. The master is on the first level with a full bath. There is no other bath on the main level. I tried to use the jacuzzi tub and the hot water ran out when it was about half full.

There is a 24 hour guard at the gate house. The clubhouse has wi-fi available. The clubhouse pool and hot tub were open from 8 AM to 11 PM. There are 32 buildings with 8 units in each one. I believe that the corner units are bigger, but I did not get to see one inside. If you rent here, find out where the unit is located. The KOA campground is right next door.

Over the New Year's weekend, there was no one around other than the guard. The dumpster was overflowing with trash.

On a more positive note, the location is great and the unit was clean. Next time I rent, I will be asking a lot more questions.

I have rented across the street at Club Cortile and I prefer that complex over this one.

“Decent stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 December 2011

I just completed a stay here through Magical Memories. It is only a 10 minute drive to Disney, about 3 miles away. The experience you have here really depends on who you rent from. If you rent direct from an owner, it depends on the owner. If you rent from a mangement company, it depends on the company. The place itself, regardless of who you rent from, has 24/7 security at the gate. It has a pool, hot tub, play ground, tennis court and basketball court. You can also play pool or table tennis, We rented from Magical Memories. They were a decent company, though I had a few problems. I was told the day of that I could stop by to check in as late as 10PM, but when I got there at 9:30PM, it was already locked. My keys were in a drop box, but I had to stop by again the next morning to return papers, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the unit we had. It was clean and only about 5 years old, so pretty new. Magical Memories provides tissue, toilet paper, paper towel, towels, kitchen towels, small hand soaps, dish washer detergent and dish soap. This was pretty average for a rental. Bring your own laundry detergent for the washer and dryer, like most rentals. The condition of the unit was decent though there were 2 broken drawers, one nightstand drawer and the other a dresser drawer. When I informed the front desk of Magical Memories upon check-out, she didn't care. I guess there were enough other drawers still working that it wasn't a big deal to her. Also, there was a clock in the bedroom, but when I tried to set the alarm, it went off at 4:26AM and the snooze button didn't work. The alarm was properly set at 8AM, so I never tried using the alarm function again. The dryer also never dried our clothes. It got hot but not hot enough. We tried drying one load and after 1.5 hours it was still wet. This might be because it's one of those small dryers, but to me, this seems like a malfunctioning dryer. Magical Memories assisted us in letting us use dryers that dried really well since there wasn't enough time to get the dryer fixed before we had to check out. I got a really good price on it, especially for traveling right before Christmas, so it ended up being good value, even with the issues.
