On November 11,2011 around midnight we checked into the econo lodge,the front desk guy was very nice and pleasant, we went into our first room 220 brought our bags up and what not well when we walked in the bathroom we noticed feces in the toilet,bathtub was disgusting and fridge wobbly,I refused to stay in the room we had paid 112.98 for 2 nights we went down stairs and spoke with the front desk guy and he offered us another room so we went to our second assigned room 223 appeared cleaner,my fiance is allergic to dogs but they said no dogs allowed in that room well that night he was coughing a lot and sneezing when we woke up around 11am he said he didnt have a good night at all and was feeling sick,he wanted to get a diff hotel,but I told him lets just stick out if end up getting another hotel they wouldnt refund us the second night so okay we stuck it out until later that day.
Well we went out and went on about our day, we came back relaxed for a bit and his eyes were getting pink almost like pink eye that happens when he is near a dirty dog or a dog that sheds a lot.we then went out and he bought some eye drops relief for allergy seemed to be working up until we got back in our room i was like okay WTF I started to take the sheets apart but let me tell you that I didnt need to go far we noticed in the light by the sink which is the only good light that well the pillow cases had DOG FUR IN THEM!! I do have pictures and videos of how horrible that room is btw.I took the pillow cases back to the front desk at around 9 pm or so and complained also by that time my lungs were actually hurting a lot.
she offered us another room gave us 2 keys to look at 2 different rooms well we had paid for a KING SIZE BED turns out all the rooms we looked at were double beds,and because the front desk IS NOT ALLOWED TO ISSUE US A REFUND why should we downgrade?well I told her we wanted to leave and she said owner will be there in the morning so we can speak with him.we ended up spending more money on another hotel,which wasnt that great but still,we went back after check out to speak with owner,which he was not there the lady at front desk basically called me a liar in a nice way,said the cleaning lady prides herself in cleaning and so on.I told her LOOK I have pictures and I HAVE VIDEOS if I DONT GET MY REFUND from the owner I WILL BE SUING after that she said nothing else,I have no heard from the owner since she took my number and name down,I called the florida license and I filed a complaint,I will be exposing them further and I want them punished to the fullest extent we had to cut our vacation short because of them they ruined it.please do not stay here I do have proof also if you have a child beware because their plug outlets well the one where we stayed had no cover on it which a little kid can stick their fingers in easily.I only live hour and half from them they have no heard the last of me.if this ends up in court I will demand the money for the eye drops,the full refund 112.98 plus the money we spent on other hotel,we were tight on money thanks to them the money we had left we had to use on other hotel and gas to get back home.at around 11 or so we were driving around looking for another hotel was checking out with them.
Another thing is the bathtub has stains looks like a dog pissed on there,i bet thats easily cleanable.
