We recently stayed here at the recommendation of the folks at the Turtle rescue place next door. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and friendly. It was late in the day and we rolled in without reservations.
Look its not the Ritz Carlton but a nice small motel with a boat ramp and space for small boats in the water.
We would stay here again without question

We stayed at the Blue Waters for a week and enjoyed the many activities there in the Florida Keys. The motel was a 5 min. walk away from kayak and bicycle rentals ($15 and $10 per day) and a mile away from the snorkel boat dock ($25). Bahia Honda State Park is on the other side of the bridge, about 10 min. away. I had a list of other small motels in Marathon, but this one is by far superior in terms of setting, location, and buildings. There is a carport with each room and beautiful atmosphere all around. The owners and staff are very accessible and helpful - nice people. Marathon itself is an amazing place to be, with its beaches and coral reefs, and people so helpful (from clerks in grocery store to crew on snorkel boats). Now I already know where to stay on our next trip!

My wife and kids have just returned from a week stay at the Blue Waters Motel. Not only does this place tick every box as far as location is concerned but we found nothing to be to much trouble from the staff there. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and it was very peaceful. The traffic on the main road down to Key West could never be heard and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Blue Waters Motel to anybody. Five stars for me!

We have stayed at Bluewaters many times over the years and have always had a wonderful stay. The rooms have been fresh and clean and the staff have always gone out of their way to make sure that our stay is comfortable.
It is convenient to have a boat ramp and marina too.
With a nice swimming pool with plenty of seating and picnic tables and grills around the property it is very nice for just sitting round and relaxing after a hard days fishing or sightseeing.
Look forward to going back very soon.

Blue Waters Motel is a more traditional Keys motel. It's quiet, laid back, clean, and accommodating. I choose to stay at Blue Waters every December and haven't been disappointed yet. The staff leave you to yourself for your enjoyment of what it is to be "in the Keys". I would recommend this motel to any and all!
