The hotel is located by the sea and has a nice pier for fishing. Also where all the pelicans hang out hoping for an easy dinner. The beach is recommended; rather take a swim in the pool. We stayed in a suite with one bedroom and kitchenette. The suite was spacious but brown and dark. The bathroom was nice and big. The drawback was the noise on the balcony and the view. We were facing straight in to a wall and just under our balcony all the A/C units lived. The restaurant at the hotel was expensive, but it’s a short and easy walk from the hotel to several local restaurants.
Room Tip: Ask for a view far away from A/C unit noise.

Your review is greatly appreciated. We are delighted you enjoyed our 525-foot wooden fishing pier and got to meet some of our local pelicans. Our spacious suites capture a West Indies-inspired motif with dark mahogany furnishings, colorful tropical artwork and a spacious marble bathroom. We regret that while you found the suite spacious, you were disappointed with the noise and view from the balcony.
Our restaurants offer a wide range of menu selections and prices that are comparable to other restaurants nearby. We are happy that you enjoyed some of the other eateries here in Islamorada.
We appreciate your comments, and will use them to enhance our overall guest experience.
