P & P is the perfect antidote to the pretentious, overpriced, and underwhelming lodging too often found in south Florida. P & P evokes a perfect mood of casualness, cleanliness, and comfort. The management is hospitable and helpful. The location is perfect, with good dining options just minutes away. For a taste of the Keys the way they once were, P & P is the place to be.

Pines is a pretty set of bungalows and small apartments set on the shoreline. Due to our own lack of planning we soon found that a car is pretty much essential here. Due to some unseasonal poor weather there is not much else to do around the nearby neighbourhood. Jim the owner was very helpful as was Ana and her staff. Bike hire good fun but like much of the pines one road in and one road out. Don't hesitate to stay here it's a really nice place.

We've stayed at P&Ps many times over the last eight years. Always clean, comfortable and the staff is great. Highly recommend staying here - especially nice for couples.

My daughter and I took a much needed overnight getaway. Picked the Pines & Palms after reading NOTHING NEGATIVE in the reviews! We found out why. It is just beautiful here. Right on the ocean; piers with chairs at the end of them to relax in; lounge chairs on the beach; hammock; heated pool; everything clean and cared for. Set the alarm and got up to watch the sun come out of the ocean right outside our cabin door. Could go on and on, but don't waste any more time reading reviews ~ pay a little extra and go for it. Well worth it.
