Our third visit to Lookout Lodge was even better than the first two. The newly-redecorated suite was pleasant and comfortable. As always, the staff was attentive and supportive, but not intrusive. There really wasn't a down side to this visit.

Through a twist of fate we ended up at the Lookout Lodge and felt like we were in Paradise.

It is a small resort but immaculately clean and beautiful rooms. The dock area give you stunning views of the gulf and the sunset.

This is not an all inclusive, cater to your every need kind of resort, but it is a peaceful little paradise in the Keys.

The Lookout Lodge has to be one of the nicest hotels we have EVER visited! The place is a little bit of heaven stuck in the middle of the Keys. The view from the back of the hotel is straight out of a tropical photo shoot! We experienced breathtaking sunsets, starry nights and fun filled sunny days! We even saw an incredible shooting star! Everyone on staff was kind and thoughtful, willing to help make our vacation all it could be. We were greeted by Gregg, who was wonderful and helped answer all our questions about where to eat, where to fish, etc. Don, Hector and Kathy were all wonderful! We really enjoyed every aspect of staying at the Lookout Lodge. The room was great, clean, plenty of room and well stocked with all we needed. We even fell in love with Summer, the resident cat! She was so much fun! When headed to the Keys, Lookout Lodge is the place to stay!

My stay at Lookout Lodge was very enjoyable. The room was your basic roadside motel, nothing special, but it was clean. I think most places in Key Largo and surrounding area are WAY over-priced for what you're getting, but it's the Keys. Lookout Lodge was right off the highway, so if you stay there, try and get a room as far away from the road as possible. I would not put a family in this room either. It's really only big enough for a couple at best. They have a great little area by the bay to relax and watch the sunset.....which was spectacular while I was there. There is a great little bar/restaurant next door called "88", and it's also a great little place to hang out at the end of the day. I would recommend this place to someone, but just realize that you're not going to be staying at the Ritz Carlton. It's a place to crash, and organize your day.
