This was our second trip to Rose Lane Villas and it is all about the location. Steps off of Duval down a small lane (alley), right behind Fat Tuesdays. So close to the action but not noisey. You can hear some music from the front porch or balconey but we enjoy that and inside you don't hear anything but the hum of the a.c. Our first trip we had a one bed/one bath for 2 of us. This time we had the 3 bed/2 bath for 6 adults. It was as expected - not fancy but clean and functional with a full sized refrigerator which we used to keep breakfast items and drinks. There are a few things that do need some attention from the management - please invest in a few things that are just worn out - our coffee maker was leaking water all over the counter and the lid is broken and doesn't stay on, making coffee pouring a real mess. The toaster is malfunctioning on one side and in general is just nasty looking. We did report that the upstairs shower was leaking and was informed that they were aware of the situation - it was scheduled for repair after our departure. The champagne that they left for us for New Year's was a very nice touch. If you are looking for a location in the heart of the old town in Key West, walking distance to everything - Rose Lane is the place.

Clean, comfortable and tucked away. Although this guest house is one block off Duval, we never heard noise from the party crowd. We stayed in the Villa Vista (#22) which was surprisingly large for two people and right by the pool. There were a few small touches missing (doormat, hooks for hanging clothing, etc) it was overall a very good experience!

I stayed at Rose Lane Villas twice this year and it was excellent each time! The first time we had a large group and we rented all of Rose Lane and most of Old Town Manor. The staff was great in accomodating various arrival times at odd hours. All the villas/rooms were clean and comfortable and everyone enjoyed their stay. The location is perfect as it is very close to Duval and Mallory Square yet it is very quiet for sleeping. The Pricing was very reasonable and I will definitely stay there again!

I've stayed in several locations on the Island, and I can guarantee you this one just moved to the top of the list! We rented the two bedroom villa (#23) and one of the one bedroom villas (#22) (all where larger than expected - especially the one bedroom) and were right on the pool. Having a kitchen during a 4 day stay with a fridge was a great bonus (as was the designated parking spot) for keeping lots of provisions. The location couldn't be more convenient to everything. And another phenomenon that occurred during this stay - I never heard the garbage trucks! When was the last time you stayed on the island and can say that?? If you want to feel at home on vacation - Rose Lane Villas is the place. See you again in April or May!
