We spent one night at the hotel. Used my SPG points for a quick family getaway (wife and two daughters - 2 and 8 months) trip while visiting other family in Fort. Lauderdale.

Talon (sorry for the spelling), the Manager on staff when we arrived, was such a professional and pleasure to deal with. We paid an extra 100.00 and he arranged for a two bedroom suite with a massive bedroom in between the rooms. Suffice to say that it was an absolute delight for my wife and I to have such room and some time to ourselves after the girls had gone down for the night.

I cannot tell you how Talon and everybody at the hotel made our short stay such a fabulous vacation. The attention to detail did not go unoticed. In terms of the location, there is no other better hotel in the area. Such a treat to stay there.

Hope to come back one day with my wife and enjoy the resort and city for a longer period of time.

We had our company sales conference again at this hotel this past week and as expected Westin was top notch. From the meals to the service to the rooms provided - all were above expectations. They were even very helpful when we had to change plans due to weather and they worked with us to make what we needed to have done happen. It is a great location for work of play and would recommend it to anyone.

Certainly not a typical stay for old key west. If its your first time I'd suggest finding a B&B, otherwise the hotel is fantastic. Quite pricey but Westin qualities included.

Tip: sunset key dinner is amazing and priced very reasonable. Free shuttle from Westin.

We just returned from 5 glorious days in Key West at the Westin and thought the hotel was AWESOME! The room was clean and everything in perfect working order. We had an ocean view and small balcony-granite bathroom with a large shower-on the 2nd floor(SPG Floor)-and of course Heavenly Beds. As far as location, you can not find a better place-it has great sunset views and ocean views- and is just a short walk to everything. The pool was great-service excellent- and Adrian at the front desk was especially helpful. It has great food in the Bistro and of course Lattitudes cannot be beat. The view and sunsets are worth the price alone.
I cannot believe some of the bad reviews of this hotel, because it truely is one of the best in Key West and does a fine job of maintaining the Westin's outstanding service.
