We were treated royally for our son's wedding in Key West. Many of the wedding party stayed here, and we couldn't have asked for more! Great rooms, and an excellent staff! Also reasonable

We stayed at the Truman for a week while in Key West for our wedding, and could not have asked for more. The staff (during the day/early evening) were absolutely phenomenal. We stayed in a king suite on the third floor with a balcony that overlooked the pool. The room itself was extremely large with a separate living room and sleeping area. Nice wood floors and modern furnishings, rugs, etc. Having stayed at the Truman before, I was so relieved to see that it was still a wonderful place to stay. Housekeeping staff and groundskeepers keep the place immaculate. The pool area is such a relaxing place to read or visit with friends/family. The proximity to all of the action in Key West is great, but the location also provides a buffer from the noise on Duval. We are so grateful to the staff for making our wedding week so memorable. We hated to leave, and are eagerly awaiting our next trip to Key West and the Truman Hotel.

We spent two nights at the truman hotel in Jan and we loved it. We had a ground floor room overlooking the pool, it was spacious, clean and modern. the pool area is lovely. The hotel is just off Duval street so only a short walk to all the attractions of Key West.
Would definately stay here again.

Had a great stay at the Truman. Stayed here with 5 other friends so we had three room in total. Two sets of us we in the older side of the building and the renovated rooms were great. Spacious and clean and modern. The pool was awesome though I wish the sun was accessible throughout the day but that's a layout issue. The breakfast was good. A thorough continental breakfast with renough to get you started on your day. This stay was over new years so the champagne was a nice touch.

Drawbacks.. The man that checked us in (not Nick) was frustrating and knew nothing about the area or the system to check in. It took almost half an hour to get us checked into the rooms. pretty to look at but thoroughly exhausting.
I also got a leak in the bathroom from the ac unit (110) but it was fixed as best it could on new years eve promptly. It leaked a little mo but it was something I could live with. the shower head needed to be able to tilt more so u don't have to stand RIGHT UNDERNEATH IT... Negates the wonderful large modern shower stall if u have to cower right underneath it as the pressure is lacking and it doesn't move

will try to stay here again hopefully in the newer sections of the building as the vaulted ceiling looked impressive.

If booked earlier for new years it's a great value. close to everything without being in the thick of things and the parking free is a DEFINITE plus.
