A quiet, relaxing small inn with a lovely beach atmosphere, very clean, with a great staff intent on making your stay very comfortable. The location is very good, safe, within walking distance of major sites, and we really enjoyed our daily walks along Dickson Street to Mallory Square and the seaside to watch the sunset, boats, and people. Bicycles were available for rent and many people used them advantageously for transportation. Our car was safe in the private off the street parking lot near our room. Housekeeping was easily available. We enjoyed walking across the street each morning for the continental breakfast offered on the patio or porch, and the attendant was friendly and helpful. Also, the items in the room were quite adequate for our use: microwave, refrigerator with freezer, coffeemaker, plastic utensils and paper plates. The pool looked very nice and clean. I especially enjoyed sitting outside our room on the partially enclosed porch. It was shady and I could read quietly or just enjoy the greenery. We hope to be able to stay there again in the future.

I stayed here for 5 nights with my senior mother. The location is a hike to 'town' but there are a few beaches right around the corner and it is very quiet and felt safe. We arrived via Key Shuttle from MIA airport - 5 hrs but $50 1way. So it was dark and reception had closed - not a problem to call and key code but van driver drove around the block 3 times - the light on the sign was out and impossible to see. Large 'poolside' room two big beds, plenty of room, but kitchenette hardly deserved the name. A bar counter and stools, a coffeemaker and a microwave - yes a small fridge. Most laughable were the plastic cutlery, tiny plastic drinking cups and paper plates. LOL! not a real glass in the place. Nice to be able to sit outside but had to pull over own chairs from pool area. (room 10). No-one around to tell us about breakfast and it was across the street at the sister property. Ok. Then - no-one comes to clean the rooms till about 2-3 p.m. Oh and a kicker: EST had changed the time on Saturday - we arrived on Thurs - we used the clock radio alarm clock - and to our dismay were 1 hour early for our boat tour - no-one had changed the clock!!!!!
certainly nothing special here, pool a joke, internet fine. was quiet - will need to rent some form of transport if you plan to go back and forth often. try bikes. don't miss the butterfly observatory just around the corner - magical. oh and Higg's Beach? got stung by a jellyfish for the 1st time in my life. but nice you can rent umbrella and 2 lounges for $20 for the day...no take-out food there that I could see, only a restaurant. Place is ok - don't look for service.

Stayed here for 1 night on Saturday 9/10. Not the fanciest of hotels on the Island but certainly not the worse either. Bed was a little smaller than expected but room was clean and service was fine. Loved the tropical feel at Ocean Breeze as well as the sister property across the street. Location was great---close enough to be just a couple blocks from Duval yet avoided all the noise from the parties. Would stay again.

One of the lowest priced rooms in KW . Old fifties style motor court . Small pool and courtyard . Clean and well kept . Broke a glass , told the man at front desk . In 2 minutes he was there with the maid and a vacuum . Cleaned the whole floor even moved both beds .Said if you find any more glass call again . Free WiFi . Free breakfast is coffee and pastry , juice and cold cereal . Nothing special but it's there if you don't want to go out . Quiet location . Two blocks off Duval St . Close enough to all of old town . Parking lot close . Bicycles are the best way to get around . Easy and free to park . Rent them at the front desk . Pool was clean and refreshing .Free Water cooler to refill your bottles . If all you want is a room this place is it . Do not mistake this place for anything else . It's not a resort in any way . I would go back if we are a solo couple again . All ground floor rooms .
