This was our 8th time staying at Big Ruby's in 8 years. It is so nice to walk in and see the staff the same from year to year. The rooms are always extremely clean along with the whole complex being clean and beautiful.
We usually go during the slower time of year but went for New Years this time and had a blast. The staff was working their behinds off but always had a smile and time to talk. They always have given us amazing advise on resturants and things to do and have even made the reservations for us.
We have stayed in a different room each time and always have been pleased.The rooms are cleaned daily.
The morning breakfast is alway very good and the evening happy hour(both complementary) is nice. This gives you a chance to meet other guests, which we have met some very wonderful people from around the world.
We have toured other gay guest houses but none are as nice as this and are a bit far from the Key West fun. We always are made to feel so welcome and have loved each trip to Big Ruby's Key West.Thanks Terry, Chris, Michael and Roland for another great time.

My partner and I discovered Big Rubys on our first visit to Key West and fell in love with the place. From the minute we arrive we are both totally and completely relaxed. We have met some really great people during our visits. Many who we keep in touch with and look forward to seeing at BR's in future visits. The rooms are beautifully kept and clean. The pool and hot tub are always fresh and inviting. The sun patio is my favorite place to hang out, get some rays, have a few drinks and relax the day(s) away. Love the "clothing optional" option. The happy hour is always great! The staff is absolutely fantastic! Seth is the BEST. Looking forward to our next visit in June 2012.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very helpful with suggestions on local restaurants and bars. The prepared breakfast was delicious. We also met some great people during our stay. Take advantage of the refrigerators in the rooms and stock your own mini-bar!

Me and my partner came here for new years 2012. This was my first trip to key west and the staff here were great (especially Chris). The room are very nice and the property was very clean. The best part would be the guest, they were so much fun and very warm, we formed a super gang o' gays and hit the streets for a night(s). Do not hesitate to book here, It will be one of your best decisions of your trip. The location is right in the heart of it all. The other popular gay guest houses are practically miles away (feels like miles while stumbling). Thank you all at Big Ruby's for making my stay memorable. Rich and Dave
