We have stayed at The Ambrosia for many years now and enjoy it more every year. There are always improvements to make the guests feel important and catered to. This year the pool towels and room linens were upgraded...soft and fluffy. The breakfast was set out in a very welcoming way with hot and cold choices and the hours are 8:30 to 10:30 am so it can serve as brunch. The garden is beautiful and well maintained plus the pool warm enough to use any time.
All the employees are friendly and helpful. They were able to help us with restaurant suggestions, necessary business needs and were immediately available if anything went wrong ( fixing a fuse after the office had closed for the night within minutes).
We have already booked for next year.

The name of the Ambrosia Inn is an apt description for this lovely Inn. It was the epitome of old world elegance and absolutely charmed us to the core. Every hotel could take a lesson in "how to treat your guests" from the wonderful staff here! They were terrific! I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when I come to Key West again. Two days was not enough and I wish that we had alloted more time to stay here.

We stayed in the house that is on the Key West Historical registry (615 Fleming Street). What a treat. This accommodation is a breath of fresh air. Once we paid for our room, everything else was taken care of. Bug bite? They gave us lotion. Tan? They provided tanning oil. Boarding pass? They got it for me. Email home? Wifi was included. Movies? Flat screen with cable in the room. Beach towel? They give it to you. It was so nice not to be nickel-dimed to death. We woke to a complimentary poolside breakfast. When searching for restaurants, everyone of their recommendations was exactly what we were looking for, along with discount cards. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

We absolutely loved it. The staff was freiendly, courteous and efficent. Rooms were always clean and well-appointed, as were the grounds and amenities. Breakfast was complete and fresh. Owners knew everything about Key West. We'd come back in a minute......and need to spend lots more time next visit.
