Change over with new owners-for the better. B&B now has access to Ocean Breeze Inn across the street for pool. (Ocean Breeze Inn guests come to An Island Oasis for continental breakfast.) Otherwise there was only hot tub at An Island Oasis. Great location, Booked same room for Nov 2012. Win-Win for everyone.

This property was sold in the begining of June and the new owners are working hard at improving things. I will admit I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but it proved to be not a bad place for one night.

I booked a day or two after the owners changed and somehow my reservation was lost. They where quick to fix things once they saw my emailed copy of my reservation- most importantly they apologized and explained what happened and fixed it. We actually got a bigger rom than booked- win-win.

We stayed one night on the second floor, door on the left as you come up the stairs. Room was nice. Air conditioning was not loud and bathroom had enough room. This B&B is about a 3 block walk to Duval. We got up early and went out to eat so I can not comment on the breakfat.

I would revisit this property expecially after seeing how the new owners are trying to make things better.

An Island Oasis @ 630 South St., Key West, Florida. I totally agree with the review of Aprilshowerr17 experience. Last November 2011, we had a confirmed room reservation (on the quiet side of the building.) and it was changed to one of a lesser quality. The mini-pool was outside our room along with the main and cross street. The Bathroom was small, the AC was noisy and just was able to keep up with its function. The bed was up against a set of French doors, forcing me to crawl out the bottom to get to the BR. The outdoor dining area was not well kept with torn fabric on the gazebo. The reception area/office is cluttered and poorly organized and part of the kitchen. We were very disappointed to say the least. Left a rather long note for the owners with our impressions. Stay away, there are better more affordable venues.

We stayed in Keywest for just 1 day at this sweet cozy comfy little BnB.. This was my first experience at any BnB and I loved it... It felt so homely yet sweetly romantic at this place. I soo wanted to extend my stay here but we had to head back to Miami Beach.

After the amazing drive from miami to keywest this is was the next best thing on our trip..
Everything was clean neat and charmingly cute. Recommend it to anyone who want to have the best time with their sweethearts... I know I did :)
