Staff was polite, even as water poured down through our ceiling. They were very nice to find us a box fan when we pointed out that half the ceiling fan was missing. Food was great and bar staff were very nice. Very helpful on getting recommendations for places to go and eat. Breakfast was fabulous! Wasn't very happy with looking out the window of our poolside room and seeing an older guy wearing a speedo, asleep with his legs spread apart. Wanted t-shirts but none were available.

We stayed at Pearls for 4 nights over the New Year and had a fantastic time. Check in was efficient and welcoming. We had a king room which was large, modern and well equiped. We were near the gym and ice making machine and we were woken up at 6.30am every morning buy someone collecting ice and for the first 2 mornings also at 7.30am by the man in the next room who could not work his shower but we did end up laughing about it with the chef who was collecting the ice, as they were like wake up calls.
We enjoyed the pool area and also Pearls patio. All staff were professional and welcoming and all the other guests we met were friendly.
I would not hesitate in staying at Pearls again as it is convienient to all of Key West's attractions being just off Duval Street and you can walk to most places.
What can I say New Year's Eve was fun in Key West and the sunsets and weather were amazing.

The third floor of this B & B is a finished attic and our room (301) was small with over half of it's ceiling sloped. We had to walk up two flights of stairs to reach it. Call us crazy but we absolutely loved it. It was extremely reasonable for Key West at $119.00 per night through Hotwire. We stayed for 7 nights. We are both physically fit and were not bothered by the stairs or ducking our heads due to the ceiling. The room was clean and the beds were comfy, and the shower was large. My husband remarked on how quiet the room was. The breakfast not only saved us the expense of eating out, but the food was phenomenal. The location was a half block away from Duval, which is excellent. We walked everywhere. The only negative for me, was the bathroom was a little messy in it's detail. For example some of the grout was missing in and around the shower. The positive to that is the shower was clean and large and the water hot.
I think the fact that this was a former lesbian resort is a mute point. We saw a diversity in visitors that reflects Key West. My husband and I were extremely comfortable here.

Pearl's made Key West seem more like a vacation home than a hotel. The crew there were welcoming and accommodating, helpful, kind, and fun. We were sad to have to leave, but look forward to going back. Our family just got bigger! You guys ROCK! Thanks so much for taking our 15th anniversary over the top. We're still smiling. Keep the light on for us!
