Stayed here for 4 nights. Overall very good. Friendly staff, good location. Would return.
Only negative comments would be: front desk recommended two restaurants that were AWFUL. And next day other staffers agreed. The gardens do not seem to be well taken care of ... a lot of Palm trees seemingly half dead, and the place was unkempt; needed a lot of pruning. Unannounced male singer on Thursday was enough to make us leave hotel to get away from the noise. Site is within Key West airport final approach and occasionally it suffers from jet noise but not enough to lose sleep over. Poolside breakfast a huge treat. Loved it, loved it. A couple of staff members were beyond nice ... true gems but didn't get their names! One, a lady, seen briefly in their wine video, tends to Thelma and Louis. Thank you so much!

My husband and I needed to find a place to stay for our friends wedding in July 2011. We decided on the Gardens hotel due to the great reviews, the search for a romantic getaway and the location. We were very pleased with the amenities and service, especially the great hospitality from Billy the bartender which even gave us a fishing trip on his boat at a very reasonable price. The staff was so friendly that we were even invited to the elaborate "commitment party" given by the owner which made for a wonderful evening and by no means had we felt like we were party crashers. We were by far the youngest couple at the B&B while we were there (we are in our early 30's) however by no means did the B&B feel stuffy or lacked energy at the bar. Key West can get crazy....If you want to get a quiet nights and be able to sleep by the pool without distractions in between your celebrations, Gardens hotel is the place for you. The one and only thing I could suggest the B&B to improve on is breakfast. Not to say the breakfast was bad however during our three day stay, we had scrambled eggs (flavored slightly different each time) as the hot breakfast. Variety would be nice...

I stumbled across the Garden Hotel in Key West while surfing the internet. What a fantastic find!! From the minute we entered the main house to check-in for our stay we were treated like royalty! The staff is engaging and genuine. Not only do they provide services with one-on-one attention, but they take the time to stop and say hello or talk to you while you are having a drink at the bar. They actually get to know all guests by name personally. Now let me add that the grounds are beautifully maintained and quite charming. The rooms are gorgeous and impeccably decorated. Breakfast by the pool is wonderful! This is truly a secluded oasis hidden away in the heart of Old Town Key West! Your hotel search need not go any further... call and book your piece of paradise now!!

My husband & I just spend two wonderful days at the Gardens and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The location is central but pleasantly quiet and peaceful. The garden is awesome and service friendly and professional. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet in a luxurious surrounding!
