Spacious hotel rooms with a modern and up-to-date decoration. Nice location on the beach but within a walking distance from all the main attraction of the island. Hotel has 3 good size pools (and pool bars). A big complex - will be perhaps too crowded place during high-season, perfect place to stay during low- and middle seasons...

My son and his wife stayed at The Southernmost last year, and they loved it! My husband and I were not disappointed. Our room was spacious and clean, as well as the bath room. I especially liked the drawers and shelves around the sink. The staff was very friendly, and was always there to help. Since we got there before check in time, they stored our luggage, and offered us a key to the restrooms, where we were able to change from our up north winter wear to some shorts and flip flops. The three pools, the beach, and the Beach Bar and Grill were vere convenient and well kept. The sight seeing trolley, and the conch train were very near our hotel, as well as Duval St. We recommended The Southernmost to our daughter and son in law, now they will be coming here this spring.

We stayed at the Southern Most hotel from 1/30 -2/2. We were on a pre-cruise vacation in FL. This was our first trip to Key West and I think we picked the perfect hotel for the money. We loved this hotel. We stayed in room 177. It was on the ground floor, as I had requested. We really didn’t have a view, as we were right off the parking lot. However, the Pineapple bar was only a few feet from our front door and we spent many hours there. It was delightful!!! I told my husband, with all the money we spent at the Pineapple bar, we should have just booked a balcony room and drank on our balcony. LOL! Now I know for next time. Yes, there WILL be a next time. Speaking of the Pineapple Bar, be careful walking around after you’ve been in the pool. The pavers are like ice with wet feet. I landed right on my a$$, and that was before I started drinking! I also saw another guy slip that day.
As for the room, it was kind of tiny and the bathroom door precariously opens into the room and got in the way! The door should open into the bathroom or install a pocket door. Also, the shower curtain was hung too far into the tub and stuck to you while trying to shower. YUCK! They need one of those curved shower curtain rods to give you more space in the shower. The bathroom was a nice size! These are just very minor details; it did not affect our stay! We got a $20 voucher for breakfast at the Beach Café. The café was very good; we ate there a few times. The first night we walked all the way up to Mallory Square to watch the sunset activities. It was a nice stroll. We ate at DJ’s Clam shack on the way back. Get one of their Lobster Rolls!

The Southernmost is a very nice facility with an extremely friendly staff.The Beach cafe was extremely convenient and was right on the well kept and staffed beach..The bartenders were outstanding and the entire atmosphere was friendly and the property very wel maintained. The only problem wa that we were not advised of the size of the room ot which we were assigned and although well maintained a shoe horn would have been of assistance when moving about our room
