Our mornings started with a wonderful welcome from Susan at the coffee area at the pool front. What a wonderful person, she always had a smile on her face and made us feel very welcome. Great way to start the day! Shelley was also an asset to the hotel, not once did she walk by without greeting with a nice smile. Heather has a lot of energy and did a great job delivering our drinks and lunches near the pool. Ok, Boomer was the activities coordinator and we had so much fun playing all the games around the pool. Who would have known I could hoolahoop, not me! He encouraged everyone and did a great job not making people feel obligated to participate. I think those spectating had as much fun watching participants. And the best bartender was Mark at the pool bar and Bill at the Restaurant Bar

If you're looking for a touristy destination in Key West, this is the place to go. The rooms were quite lovely, the grounds were great.... the only grief I had was the poorly designed layout. Most rooms have a view of another one of the hotel's buildings and your neighbors. So, if you go make sure you get a full view of the ocean, not a "partial view" (I was a bit disappointed with that.)

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was clean, comfortable, right on the water and I would go back if I had the chance.

This is a wonderful newer resort tucked between the Southernmost Point in Key West and The Reach. I've stayed at the Reach before, it's really nice, but the Southernmost on the Beach is far and above a much better hotel. From the easy check-in, to the ocean-view room, everything was a delight. It's a green hotel, your room key turns on the lights and the ventilation system, very nice. The bed was more than comfy, the bathroom was enourmous with a huge walk-in shower. Our balcony looked over the pool to the ocean and was perfect for coffee, although (my only complaint) the air conditioner blows right out onto the balcony and is a bit annoying. The pool is just right and the pool bar staff was oh-so-accomadating! The beach-side cafe is very good. The hammocks are relaxing and the swimming area was fun and filled with schools of little fish and huge tarpon! We cannot wait for our next visit!
