I was a little concerned before I headed down to Key West with some of the sketchy reviews I had read prior to arriving, but I was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. We were running late the last morning to check-out and the staff was completely considerate and allowed us time to get ready to leave. The front desk happily called a cab for my friends and I to head downtown. For the price (compared to other locations), I really feel I got what I paid for. It's too far to walk to downtown, but you are only a short cab or moped ride away.

I am not the one to write reviews about places but I feel the need to write one for our stay at this place. We chose the cheapest hotel option in Key West so we can spend money on other things to do there. So with this being said I was not expecting anything fancy or extreme comfort. We stayed 3 nights here and every night we heard people fighting, screaming, pounding on doors, and of course they were up talking all night and I mean all night doing whatever people do at 3am. This was not just in one room as we heard it on each side of our room and the room below us. One guy was talking to another man about how he was out on parole blah blah blah.....another at 3am was outside our room saying he needed to "p*ss" and was going to in one of the a/c vents outside the room because he couldn't get into his hotel room. The walls are so thin I even heard the people in the room next to us evertime they urinated in the toilet. And I cant forget about everyday at 8am like clockwork the hotel maid and her cart come stomping through the pathway which was so loud! The a/c would not stay on constantly to block the noise out...ours kept turning off and on every 15 min. We travel alot and this has definitelty the worst hotel ever! So I am advising to whoever wants to stay in a budget hotel while visiting Key West PLEASE spend he extra $30 a night and stay somewhere else! You will be hapy you did!

We stayed at this hotel because it was the cheapest option we could find in Key West during Christmas as we booked on short notice. We ended up in a smoking room due to booking late. The room was clean and as a non-smoker, the smoke smell wasn't too bad. Overall the room was more spacious than expected. The beds weren't in the best condition but none of the 4 of us staying in the room had any trouble sleeping. My only issue with the hotel is that when we got in late on the two nights we stayed there, the parking lot was almost full. Additionally there were several people just standing around in the parking lot blocking spaces and blocking the parking lot itself. It was really annoying. It didn't feel unsafe or anything, however if I had been traveling alone it definitely would have bothered me more. It's worth noting that although the parking lot is pretty well lit some of the areas where the rooms are located are not as well illuminated. Our room did not directly face the parking lot and walking around behind the room at night, it was quite dark. Although I'd go back to this hotel, I wouldn't patronize it if I were a solo traveler.

we arrived at 3am to the first place we saw, which was days inn.. it was $99/night ... (crazy).. thinking it would atleast be nice we decided to just stay .... the room was supposed to be non-smoking room, well happened to be the most disgusting room ever, filled with smoke... i have asthma so i had to make sure they gave us another room, the other one was a little better, sheets were dirty, towels were not folded like if they were already used,.... just gross.. save ur money stay somewhere else.. not worth it all...
