We stayed at the Hyatt in mid Jan. Not sure that some of these reviewers were at the same Hyatt, because our experience was different. First we arrived about 1pm expecting that maybe they would have a room cleaned and available. No. They took my cell number and said they would call when the room was available. Well no call. I finally called about 5pm and they said oh yes your room is ready. The room was average for a motel, but much less than you would find say at a Residence Inn for the price. One smallish room, with 2 queen beds which pretty much left little other space. There was a small balcony that could barely fit 2 people if you were real careful. BTW this balcony overlooked a beach area used by the KW wino community which did add some local color. There is more I could say, but will say that the location is good and about one block to the north end of Duval; and there is a small beach with view of the Gulf. Basically if you want to pay alot for an average room, this is your place.
Room Tip: Find another hotel.

Thank you for completing a review. I appreciate your comments. I am disappointed to learn that we did not meet all of your expectations. Please accept my apology. Our team is usually very good with contacting waiting guests when rooms become available. I do hope that if your plans bring you back to Key West you give us another opportunity.
