We were in town for one nite at $229 for an event that our Son was participating in. The young woman at the front desk was great. Very friendly and helpful, also honored our early check in request.

As we made are way through the property to our room (#226) It felt a little run down. When we entered our room I was shocked at the size. It was uncomfortably small, waaay smaller than any standard room I have ever stayed in. The two double beds took up the entire room. The bathroom had a modern glass shower that was nice but the overall size was a tiny box. I had to have my Son step out of room so I could dress because there was no room to move in the bathroom. The rooms were not soundproof at all and the a/c was very noisy but we opted to sleep with the a/c on all nite to drown out the outside noise.

The overall cleanliness of the room was very good although the coffee maker had a thick layer of dust on it and came only with coffee, no sugar cream etc.

There was a very nice pool area with a bar which we did visit briefly for a drink.The Bartender was very pleasant and friendly. Also, there is a very nice complimentary breakfast which had lots of options including Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. The staff at breakfast was amazingly friendly!

Overall, the staff and pool area were great, but the rooms were very disappointing for a Marriott property.

I splurged on this hotel to ensure we had a comfortable room but could have gone with several nearby budget hotels and had the same or better accommodations.

Won't stay again.

My daughter was very pleased with her experience at the Fairfield in Key West. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I had gifted her my points and she stayed. The hotel staff and bar staff were very friendly and accommodating. Her weekend in Key West began the moment she stepped into the lobby!

This is a great job by Marriott in upgrading an older property.

A great motel surpassed only by the motel staff. This has to be the friendliest hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When I return to Key West, I will be staying at this hotel. Thank you motel staff for a very pleasant stay. You truly made us feel welcome. :-)
