“Inn at Key West”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Our stay at the Inn at Key West was very pleasant. The Cafe and pool are are beautiful done with palm trees and feels very tropical. The pool is absolutely beautiful and very clean as is the hotel. This is an old two story motel that was renovated in an "Inn". There is no elevator, which was not a problem and has the old fashioned air conditioner in the room. For some, that might be a downside. The rooms are adequate with an extremely small refrigerator, so it was difficult to put much in there. The food at the cafe is excellently prepared and a really nice setting to eat in. You have to drive into town or use cab service. Parking in town is a problem and very expensive at Mallory (which we got a ticket for being 30 minutes over), so be wary of that. If you don't want to bother with driving back and forth, then consider staying closer in, but that's more expensive. Overall, our stay was lovely, but the weather was not! Very cloudy and rainy. Also, be sure to visit the beaches and Ft. Zachary Taylor park by the naval base. Nice place to spend a day.

Room Tip: Rooms over the pool are really nice.

“Good Value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

The rooms are nice and clean, the service friendly and the pool area is above average. detractors are (i) poor location - you need to drive to get anywhere and parking in Key West is expensive and (ii) the smoke alarm went off for no reason around 1 AM.

“Love this Inn!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

This was our second trip to the Inn of Key West. The first time was two years ago Christmas week. My husband and I adore this Inn. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is just a few minutes from town, just perfect. The pool area is the best that Key West has to offer including all the 5 star hotels on the island. In our opinion, you can't find a better Inn on the whole entire island and look forward to many more visits in the future.

Room Tip: Ask fior a lovely pool view if available. If not, you will be happy with any of the rooms.

“One nice experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

All of the hotel staff were great. Helpful and friendly. Our room was great! Very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The pool area was very nice and relaxing. We had a good meal delivered to our room later at night from a local Chinese restaurant the hotel recommended. The breakfast at the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. All in all a very pleasant, relaxing well accommodated hotel away from the crowds and hubbub of downtown. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! I loved coffee on the lanai in the am watching the ibis playing in the parking lot.

“Housekeeping workers yelling at 8am”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012 via mobile

We found overpriced rooms with what looks like black mold on the ceiling and walls plus the walls were so thin we heard the radio from the outdoor cafe area. Then, in the morning the thin walls were not helped by the traffic of people marching back and forth. When the vioces turned to yelling I look out the door to see who could be so rude to find only the mango red shirts of the hotel staff!
The pool was the best feature.

The hotel location South side of N. Roosevelt is on an inside turn making the left turn towards old Key West area a nearly blind turn onto the always busy traffic.
Also near IHOP which might make breakfast easy for some.
