Really! So clean b&b! Clean and staff so nice and attentive. They are always smiling people. the parlour room is very nice, the bed was very comfortable and it wasnt too noisy. I really enjoyed that b&b, i loved the way it was so close to the duval street yet not so noisy! In the evening tine there is a ghost tour passing the house - i never took it just sat at the veranda and listened a bit :-) I would recommend it for sure, Jo the owner is slightly more nice to american tourist 5than other natrionalities but still very nice. The cleanest place I have ever stayed in....really!

“Beautiful house”
Stay here with my girlfriend we had a very nice time, our room was Eugene suit which was by far the best we tried one at the font of the house which was also nice but had few draw backs, hall light ect.
We unlike some reviewers found the pool very nice, it is small more like a very big hot tub, it was the best thing to hop in there before breakfast every morning and just float, it's a chill out pool not for laps.
Staff were very nice in our experience, only let down was the breakfast.
Room Tip: Choose Eugene suit soon nice.

Thank you for the kind words! We're glad you enjoyed your stay! Yes, our dipping pool is by no means a lap pool, but it's the perfect way to relax in the winter months when the pool is heated to jacuzzi temps as well as cooling off in the warmer months when it's a refreshing dip! We do pride ourselves on our bountiful breakfast. We realize there's always room for improvement and want to continue to "wow" our guests and if you have any ideas we'd love to hear about them! We hope you choose to stay with us again if you return to Key West!

I'm writing this prior to my next visit but have stayed here a number of times so I am qualified to offer a decent opinion. We're returning in 2 mos. but found the staff to be absolutely accomodating and customer friendly with my recent reservation request. I tried to book a 2 night stay in their expensive suite, The Turret Room. It was pricey but the location and past history drove me to try to stay here once again. Well, I needed to use my AMEX card for the deposit and they didn't offer that capability online so I emailed and asked again if this was indeed true and and sensing I was going to spend my $850 elsewhere, completely jumped thru hoops and added that option online temporarily...with a "smile". She was extremely nice and should be commended.
Now, I well understand the cost factor with running an AMEX transaction so it showed 2 things right away about the Artist House...eagerness to please and an absolute class move.
We can't wait to arrive and tear Duval St up...and also to experience a great place to stay.
See ya in April 2012!

Well, an awesome review before your stay...we couldn't be happier! We're glad that we have the opportunity to accommodate you and your group. You are correct, certain credit card companies are much more expensive than others, but we didn't want to lose you. Not because of the revenue (we would most likely have sold the room) but because we strive to please our guests-past, present and future! Thank you for taking the time to share. We can't wait for your return to the Artist House and we are sure you're going to have a great time!!!

“best place so far in Key West”
We stayed for two nights. Our room and our travelling companions room were excellent. A little noisy in the morning but our room was on the main floor near the front door and is to be expected in a quaint small inn. The staff was very helpful and helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations. The breakfast was great and the happy hour was a pleasant surprise.

“Quick Trip to Key West”
