Let me start by saying that this hotel is more like an upgraded (slightly) Motel 6. The pictures of the grounds and rooms are VERY misleading! Room (although we only stayed for about an hour before deciding on another hotel) seemed clean but small. Our balcony overlooked the parking lot (not what I look for in a vacation) and a SMALL pool. The hotel (MOTEL) offers no real services or amenities, and the staff, if you can find them, is basically useless. We explained our situation (that we weren't happy with the hotel and would be leaving immediately) and were told that the MANAGER (from all of the other bad reviews, you'll figure out that the MANAGER is NEVER to be found when there is an issue to deal with) is the person who we can discuss or refund with. We moved on and decided to deal with this when we got back home. BIG MISTAKE!!!! We did contact Book-It.com (during our vacation) who scheduled or trip, and they never called back. Now, two weeks later we're finding out that the Hotel (MOTEL) wants to charge us for the entire FIVE NIGHTS WE BOOKED because they said we smoked in the room. WE DIDN'T!!!! But, even if we did YOU'RE CHARGING FOR FIVE NIGHTS??????? There policy, by the way, is to tack on a $100. cleaning fee if, in fact, you do smoke in the room. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT A RIPOFF!!!!!

this hotel is a little gem convenient location, good parking and clean very nice rooms. staff helpful. breakfast could be better, all bagels etc and not well laid out. Still would recommend it.

We stayed at the Silver Palm in early Jan 2012. The rooms are superb - very modern, everything you could wish. Good pool area with comfortable loungers. Breakfast was good with enough choice and plenty to eat! Staff were very helpful. I borrowed a laptop a few times.
Re location, its not perfect, but its close enough to where you want to be. Strongly recommended.

Beautiful and very clean rooms. The staff are very helpful and nice. We normally stay at B & B's in Key West and decided to try something different and loved our stay. We will definetly be back
