“Simply Key West”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

We stayed for a week in room #8, which has a private little patio- perfect for lounging with a second cup of coffee after breakfast. The Inn is on the older side, however, very quaint, and representative of Key West homes. We felt as if we were locals for the week.

Breakfast is mediocre, but still a nice way to start the day. The coffee was excellent, as is the Cuban coffee a block away at Five Brothers. The Inn has a large wrap-around porch for eating breakfast, but it's also great for happy hours. Room 8 has a fridge, and easily fit a bottle of wine.

The location is about 5 blocks off Duval making bike rental a necessity for getting around town quickly. The Inn rents bikes for $8 a day which a saved us a lot of time trekking into Duval St. to find a rental place. The bikes were key for getting around.

Mark and April were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed visiting with them and they were always willing to help, book reservations, or chat. We would stay here again on our next trip to Key West.

Room Tip: Room 8 is very quiet and has a great patio- only downfall is the bathroom door has slats and is not...

“Nice and quiet. Excellent crew. Small room.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2011 via mobile

We just stayed in room #6 for a 2 nights quick trip to this paradise and the truth of this town is that you dont need to stay in a hotel with luxury and stuff. Key west and the people that lives there are an amazing part of the trip. The street of the Frances is a very quiet one. Walking the few squares to Duval street (the partys heart of key west) is a MUST ! Old beautifull houses ! People saying "hi" on every corner ! and the Bottle it is the classic house of key west that makes you feel like you where in "those hemingway's days".

If you want to party all day long the Frances is the perfect place to rest without music or croud.

They have free bicycles (scooters and bikes are the perfect way to move in the island) and the people in the Frances (Mark and April) are the perfect example of how the people of the island really is.

The Frances is for sure not a luxury B&B. If you're looking for one amazing bed with one of a kind service and sheets, forget it. You will find nice rooms, nice and warm spaces, excellent and beautifull town squares on an marvellous and classic key west style house.

“What a great place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

The inn keepers are warm and friendly. The complimentary cookies were a nice touch. We loved the room with the balcony - very clean and comfortable. Having breakfast on the porch was very nice. We'd def. go back again!

“Lovely B & B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

We stayed at the Frances Street Bottle Inn for one night in September 2011. Our room #5 was roomy and clean with the added bonus of access to our own deck. The breakfast is a simple "help yourself" to fruit and pastries. There is a fridge on the main floor where guests can help themselves to wine/beer and juice for a small price. This B & B is very laid back and comfortable.

“Great location and pet friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

We just got back from a mid-week getaway to Key West with our dog and stayed at the Bottle Inn. It's in the heart of Old Town within walking distance of many fine restaurants and has the most inviting porch for lazing or socializing. Mark, the owner, and April (self-described "Housekeeper Extraordinaire") were warm and helpful without hovering. We had the ground floor room with its own little patio garden, perfect for our dog to stretch out. We missed breakfast due to early dive boats, but it looked delicious--eggs, fresh fruit and pastries. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are pet-friendly.
