We stayed for a week in room #8, which has a private little patio- perfect for lounging with a second cup of coffee after breakfast. The Inn is on the older side, however, very quaint, and representative of Key West homes. We felt as if we were locals for the week.
Breakfast is mediocre, but still a nice way to start the day. The coffee was excellent, as is the Cuban coffee a block away at Five Brothers. The Inn has a large wrap-around porch for eating breakfast, but it's also great for happy hours. Room 8 has a fridge, and easily fit a bottle of wine.
The location is about 5 blocks off Duval making bike rental a necessity for getting around town quickly. The Inn rents bikes for $8 a day which a saved us a lot of time trekking into Duval St. to find a rental place. The bikes were key for getting around.
Mark and April were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed visiting with them and they were always willing to help, book reservations, or chat. We would stay here again on our next trip to Key West.
