Big Mistake! There was no peephole on our door, just a round hole where the peep hole should be. Anyone could have looked into our hotel room. The carpets and shower were gross. I wish I would have spent the extra $50 to stay at the Marriott across the street. This is place is not worth the money even if it is Key West. Splurge on a nicer place.

My husband and I stayed there 3 days. The carpet floor was nasty and so did the bathroom. the bathtub was in a very poor condition and the smell of the drainage in the bathroom had a terrible disgusting sewer smell. Thanks goodness the sheets were clean at least!

Stayed at the Lexington on a Saturday night. The maintenance guy helped us to take our suitcases upstairs which was really nice. Really enjoyed the pool and Tiki bar after our kayaking excursion. The hotel room was okay. The carpets were disgusting though. Really dirty. Beds were okay and the AC was good. The pictures of the pool area are pretty much right on, but the rooms are just average. The lady (Fran) in the restaurant was really helpful and gave us some advice for our short trip! Really appreciated her help. My friend forgot her phone charger in the room and when we called back, they were not very helpful at all. Put us through to an answering machine and have not heard back since then!

Do not make the mistake we made! The Lexington is an outdated hotel with paper thin walls. Although free internet is part of their package, we were very disappointed that it did not work our first night. An incompetent uninformed desk clerk gave several contradicting answers about the situation. It was very frustrating to be told it would be up and running in an hour and then not have service until the following evening.
The room itself has little or no esthetic redeeming qualities. It was clean, that is the best i can say.
The food in the restaurant was average. The service was pitiful. We had a waitress come to our table still chewing as she laid her empty plate on the ledge above our booth. She literally bounced off the walls.
I will NEVER return to that hotel. i hope you will make a better choice!
