Recently my husband and I spent a long weekend in Key West. We have been to Key West several times before but this was our first stay at Ocean Key. From a service/personnel standpoint, we felt the experience could not have been better. Ali and Hastings in Reservations, Nate and the women who work at the pool/Liquid Lounge, Joseph and his team at Hot Tin Roof, the valets, and Hugo and his team at the Front Desk---everyone was friendly and more than willing to entertain any request to improve our stay. We did not use the services of the concierge, but saw her helping others, always with a warm smile. Our room—a corner Oceanfront Suite -- was clean, spacious and well-appointed in the tropical color palette depicted in the online photos. The room had a tremendous view, and the bed and bath linens were all soft and clean and the quality of the provided toiletries was a bonus. Room service came on time (with a courtesy call preceding its delivery) and the food was delicious—especially the Cole’s Peace whole grain toast. (Our dinner at Hot Tin Roof was inspired as well.) Guests are able to select the time when they would like housekeeping to visit each day which was also nice. We had no problems with the Internet or television. Although a mechanical system problem did occur, it was quickly handled by Hugo and his staff in a manner exceeding our expectations. With its location on Mallory Square/the end of Duval, there can be roosters crowing, and some harbor noise from the happy crowd below (sometimes including live music), but we did not find any of it to ever be at an objectionable level and it all but disappeared when we closed the balcony doors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Key and hope to return soon. It has a 5-star staff from top to bottom.

My god how much? Stayed here for free thank god, view was spoilt by a cruise ship!! But it was a fab hotel for looks and they have big round tubs in the rooms great for bubbles!!!

Room is spacious, clean, quaint and airy. Great location for walking the tourist haunts of Key West. The pool area is great. Sunset view from our balcony was wonderful. We were underwhelmed by the length of time of our massauge. Our 80 minutes were way different from theirs.

We go every year in Jan. and have stayed here all but one time in about 7 trips,the only time we stayd anyplace else was the first trip and we sure learned fast
