we rented the #50 condo, which was as described in a previous trip advisor review: sub-par
bad news:
carpet up stairs and in upstairs bedrooms was filthy; needs replacing
grout in downstairs bathroom had multicolored mold; obviously hadn't been cleaned
front and back porches also needed cleaning
good news:
in general, condo was clean
beds were good
adequate cooking utensils and pans, new plates
easy access to key west
nice pool and grounds

Pro's:
1) Pleasant security staff
2) Beautiful pool/spa
3) Generally clean/neat grounds
4) Very nice King size bed; seemed like memory foam.
5) Furnishings in the unit were very nice

Con's:
1) Could not find any written guidance on using the three remotes that came with the two flat screen TV's. Reception was also poor; no cable?
2) Could not access Wi-Fi for most of the trip despite using the right security code. Called for tech support; missed their call; I returned their call; never heard back. Would have liked to ask about the TV problems, too. Sigh...Wi-Fi did start working, though.
3) Unit was a kitchenette; had a convection/microwave (again, without a user's manual that we could find). There was no dishwasher; just a small sink with liquid soap.
4) Combo bath/shower had an extremely slippery floor. Looks like there were anti-skid strips installed in the past. Recommend these be re-installed. Shower head spray could be adjusted, but stream was weak/erratic.
5) Front door and set of interior French doors had mini-blinds installed that banged and flopped about every time you moved these doors.

We rented a 3BR 3BA Townhome (Unit 406) through Keys Caribbean management company. Full kitchen, granite bar and counters, all needed appliances. Quality furnishings throughout and full bath for each bedroom. The company originally made an error by overbooking their 2 BR villas and called to tell us. They made it right by offering this 3BR as a replacement. Although the villas are supposed to be even more luxurious, we thoughts this 3BR was a great step up since we have two teens so each had a BR now. It was a very nice resort with easy access to the main pool and spa jacuzzi-- both had perfect temperature and not at all crowded. The whole resort was very quiet during our January 2012 stay. The fitness center was also nice with free weights, a Cybex Machine, and 2 each treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes. Also easy access to Dive In Watersports, to rent boats, equipment or arrange snorkel or dive charters. Our rental included a free hour kayak trip for two but we ran out of time. We did not have a boat but the marina looked very nice. Everything was very clean and well kept at the resort. The gate security personnel were very helpful and checked to see if our place was ready since we arrived an hour early -- no problems. Also, we booked rather last minute and were pleased to get a 50% off rate for this location. If you are flexible, you can get great deals last minute, at least in mid-January!

We slept 10 people in the 4-bedroom townhome unit and it was absolutely unbelievable. Everyone said "wow, this is spectacular". Furniture in every single room was brand new and TVs were amazing - with Internet (YouTube) and a cool full QWERTY keyboard remote control. Didn't get a chance to make use of the two patios but they looked lovely and it was cool to see a rooftop patio as well!
