We were excited to finally be able to exchange for a place in the Keys. The front desk personnel were quite helpful. Beyond that, the place is quite average. The bed is very firm, but there is a mattress pad, which helps (unlike our hotel in Key West). We neglected to see that the condo only had a 'partial kitchen'; there is no oven. Thank goodness we changed our minds about cooking Thanksgiving dinner in the condo! As noted by others, the hot tub is questionable, most of the jets don't work, but the pool was fine. Perhaps it was the time of year, but we had no problem with noise and too many loud folks in the pool (there were several cars in the parking lot). We, too, were concerned about noise from the highway, but it didn't bother our sleep. We did notice it when sitting out back to enjoy the sunset, but it wasn't overwhelming. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the water. There were truly beautiful views at sunrise/sunset. We were a bit concerned when we checked in Sunday night and the band in the tiki bar at Gilbert's across the water was VERY loud, but they shut it down at a reasonable hour. We stayed here to be able and enjoy the Keys, particularly snorkeling. The resort is at the far north end of Key Largo, so next time we may try to find a place more centrally located.
