“If it's cold in FL, this is a great room to stay in”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Spent 5 nights here for my husband's conference. We heard beach front rooms were worth the price so asked about upgrading. All were occupied but room 604 had a superb view to enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. Chilly temps meant little time on the beach, but this was a great room to be sequestered to. Staff nice, breakfast buffet good. City of Jupiter kind of strip mall mecca, but convenient to everything. We drove up from Ft. Lauderdale which was a good decision. Able to see the WOW beach front properties of Palm Beach and beyond.

Room Tip: Ask for a "4" room (404, 504, 604) that gets you a great view w/o the oceanfront premium.

“Great Potential, Just Missing Key Touches”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We stayed for four nights last week and enjoyed our stay very much. The Hotel is well situated, convenient to all the golf and other amenities of the Jupiter area. There are several really good restaurants and bars nearby, which are worth a visit, Jetty's and Guanabanas especially.
We upgraded to an Ocean Veiw room which had a great view up and down the beach. The sound of the waves at night was idyllic. We were charged $64 per night for the upgrade, although what we paid to Travelocity was only $3 less than the special they were offering. They claimed that Travelcity only gives then part of the payment and we had to make up the rest. Seemed odd, but we didn't argue.
Dinner the first night was good and reasonably priced, although one of our party ordered steak and it came way over done. He sent it back but still wasn't very satisfied.
Breakfast buffet on Sunday was outstanding value, unfortunately it wasn't offered the rest of the time we were there. However, the everyday breakfast was good and priced very reasonably. The breakfast room was bright and sunny and so were the waitresses.
The pool area was quite crowded, but pleasant enough, with a good bar and restaurant facility for snacks, lunch and happy hour.
The $20 beach fee for a chair on the sand seemed exorbitant, especially when the beach attendant instructed us to put down our umbrella when we left. The drinks service on the beach was excellent, speedy and friendly. Unfortunately the sand had all been washed away, so swimming was dificult, requiring navigation of very slippery rocks to get in and out of the ocean. However, in fairness there was a huge project underway to repopulate the beach with sand so all should be well now.
We didn't use the Spa, but the gym although fairly limited had three each of elypticycles, treadmills and stationary bicycles, plus some free weights and three multi-exercise machines.
Room service was good, we enjoyed the Pizza as we watched the Giant's win. Order an extra one, as they are small.
We weren't able to extend our check out, which at 11AM is early, although there seemed to be plenty of space on the Wednesday we left.
Finally, I sent my jacket down to be cleaned and pressed, but it got lost, never reached the cleaner, and was finally brought back crushed up in the laundry bag we had sent it off in.
Overall I would go back, but I'd hope some of the rough edges had been trimmed off by the time I get there. Book the Ocean View Suites, and sit around the pool, just going to the beach for swimming.

Room Tip: The rectangular hotel building is positioned at an angle to the beach, so only a few rooms at the en...

“Don't miss this place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

This is by far the best place to stay although a bit pricey. It should be ranked number 1 and am very surprised it is not after viewing the ones that are. The rooms are beautiful, it's fun and relaxing by the pool and the food is delicious even though the service was on the slow side. Everyone from the front desk to the concierge to the bellmen are all warm and friendly and ready to serve you. You don't want to miss this experience.

Room Tip: We loved having a suite with two bathrooms

“It was just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Spent five days there in January. No one helped with bags; had to change room as our room overlooked canopy and hotel was mostly empty except for some swim teams; Room was nice but I found the staff to be somewhat (when I could find someone) blase,
Nice place, but go there again, Idon;t think so.

“Beach erosion and renovations during high season”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We are local and chose this as a weekend getaway. Should've known that there is no beach in that area during the winter. They were also doing some renovations to the ballroom area near the pool.

We were on the penthouse floor and although the views were nice, the room itself leaves much to be desired and the balcony was small. The room was clean, but small and the bed and pillows were not very comfortable.

The best part of this hotel was the staff. They are extremely friendly and welcoming...even when they insisted check out was 11, when it's posted in the room as noon.

For the money, I shouldve stayed on singer island.
