Front desk experience was excellent. I've stayed here before, and this visit was even better. The suites are large and well appointed, but understand that the "suite" does not have a separate bedroom - there is no door between the bedroom area and the living area. You can walk the 1/2 block from the front door to the beach to watch the sunrise, and there will be hot coffee waiting with the breakfast buffet when you return. They do a great job of keeping the sand out of the hotel (the eternal challenge of beach hotels).
The hotel is new and fresh. Everything works. Internet access was great.
I will return to this property next time I'm in Jacksonville.

Stayed one night on a business trip. Good location, right across the street is the beach. Very clean. Very friendly staff.

Great location and very nice hotel with excellent service and staff, to bad they were working on beach walk and we could not use it...

This hotel is a good option close to the beach (BUT NOT ON THE BEACH) on A1A close to the center of Jax Beach FL. You can walk a half mile to the city center and there are dining options closer if you prefer.
The hotel is pretty much like other Fairfields, similar set up, newer building, basic comfortable rooms. Not high end but definitely a good value.
At the time I was there I was upgraded into a spacious suite as Platinum. The room was comfortable and had an entertainment center. The TV was an older style CRT model but I didnt much care.
Breakfast was the usual assortment of cold and bland hot foods. You also have the option to use the facilities at the Courtyard across the street so you get the benefit of that beach front hotel.
