The hotel is good, with quite big rooms but old and needs some renovations since it smells strange (old). Our suite is big with balcony and small kitchenette. Breakfast is OK, and internet is high speed and both are included in the price; as well as snacks and drinks in the afternoon Monday to Thursday. However, the area is not so nice or interesting. If you are into sunbathing or surfing then it is great since there is no much other to do around.

Starting the second week of our long anticipated vacation we elected to stay at the quality suites oceanfront. Checking in we were happy with the first impression. We loved the beach and boardwalk and the room was acceptably clean although we noticed the setting room was hot while the sleeping room was very cold. The thermostat was in the setting room and when it was satisfied what happened in the sleeping room was at its' mercy. Upon going to bed we noticed the room getting hotter and hotter and threw off the blankets. A while later we both awoke half frozen with ice cold air blowing directly on us. We then alternated between covering our heads and freezing to uncovering and sweating. By the next morning we both were obviously coming down with what turned out to be near pneumonia and severe sinus infections cutting our entire trip a week short as we headed home to recouperate. Sending the manager a note did get a reply ( which after the fact I've seen before in their replies to T-A ) in which they said they were going to modify that room and that we should try it again. This is not a managment that cares about the clients as this problem has obviously existed for years. Great location..Nice Rooms & View..Terrible conditions

This is the second time i've stayed at the Quality Suites Oceanfront for business and i don't plan to stay anywhere else if possible when i'm visiting. All the rooms have an ocean view which is perfect to wake up to and they're plenty spacious. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Great location with a few nice nightlife hot spots to hit up within walking distance.

My wife and I stayed here several times before we finally moved to Jax Beach. Each stay was a real pleasure. The people working the counter at check-in were always very helpful and friendly and cheerful and made the check-in process as easy as possible. We never had a problem with our room...it was always clean and ready for us when we arrived. All of the rooms are 2 room suites and all rooms also face the ocean. The view is really nice and it's great to sit out on the balcony with your morning coffee, or your evening glass of wine and watch the activity below. The rooms are furnished with king size beds, a queen size sofa bed, small kitchenette, and 2 TV's. I found the hotel to be very quiet, even rooms by the elevator and very clean overall. The complimentry breakfast was always very good, with the hot stuff hot and the cold stuff cold and had good variety (the bacon was outstanding!). The hotel has a Managers Reception weeknights (5-7:00?) with beer and wine and also some light snacks. The pool and hot tub are not huge, but large enough with ample lounge chairs around it. This is the place I recommend to out of town visitors!
