“Really?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2010 via mobile

Recently stayed at this "resort" got there and construction was underway and was not made aware of this by owner when making reservations. Pool was very small and the unit was clean but needed some serious updates to the appliances(10 to 15 years old) TV's were from the 80's for the price paid we expected more from this motel. Would not recommend. We met a couple who stayed at a place called View West. We went over there and it was very nice. a bit more then what we paid at the Rose.

“Pot Luck with this unit #503”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2009

time warp to the 80's decore..no door on master bedroom toilet? handheld shower in master tub.. no TV's in 2nd & 3rd bedrooms for the kids...missing vertical blind sections...master bedroom blinds and patio door had to be repaired..2 day wait.. only 4 acceptable patio chairs...rest are cheap plastic...found 4 child size beach chairs in closet and 2 of them were broken..threw them away...some bedsheets came with unknown stains..patio doors jump the tracks with ease..Swiss owners should part with a dollar on a few updates..two bedroom dressers have no drawer tracks ..dishwasher racks missing wheels.. pool is small and no umbrellas...the exercise room has never been opened in this building?..but the bright side was generally great weather and the view is superb.By the way, the tenants are all terrified of driving off level 2 parking due to the severely limiting turn out against the walls...some actually call a taxi instead of moving their cars....I kid you not !

“Away From It All”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2007

We've just spent a week at Indian Shores 28 July - 4 August in the Rose Resort Condos. The beach here is beautiful and we saw the odd dolphin passing by very close to the shore. The downside is having to drive everywhere to eat and drink. The Salt Rock Grill has to be the best if a little overpriced. The Pub which I noticed some people seemed to like was pretty awful - the garlic mash potato was cold and tasted like it came from a packet. Crabby Bill's at Clearwater was quite good and so was the Friendly Fisherman (if a bit crammed in) at John's Pass.

The condo at the Rose was grubby and had seen better days.
