“No complaints!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

We stayed there in Feb 2012 for a week. The condo was large and worked out excellent for a young family. The baby could go to sleep and we could relax and look at the intercoastal or watch TV. The unit were older but very clean and the staff was helpful. The location was good as this is the quiet part of the beach which is only a short walk away. the kitchen is large and we prepared alot of our own meals. I expect we will return next year. Great overall value.

Room Tip: Ask to be closer to the intercoastal. Better view.

No pictures to share on line. I am "old school" (35mm)

Room Tip: The rooms on the end facing north have veiws of the water way

“Like one of the family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

The cleanliness of the property was our first positive impression. Then the friendliness and personal interest in our needs at check in come second. This place is well worthy of the positive reviews I've read because it offers a more personal touch then a common motel. Its not so huge that it becomes just another one guest among the last thousand guests attitude. The location is great because it is only a two lane road that passes vs. the four lanes a little further south. Therefore, traffic is slower and quieter and makes passing across the road to the beach much easier. Being located away from the street contributed to quietness as well The area around the property was very well up-kept, modern and clean. The place has a dated feel in a good way. The atmosphere and furnishings seemed more reminiscent of the eighties then 2012. Every thing was in great shape in our studio room although the carpet needed to be stretchered because of some wrinkles. The suites, as far as I know, have large tiling on the floors. The bathroom was huge and had a large oval tub while the shower area was separate from the tub. The shower was over-sized, and. I loved the water pressure it offered as well. Overall, very worth the money spent. They have a clean heated pool and free wi-fi in the lobby area

Room Tip: I would choose a second floor room simply because you won't hear someone moving about overhead a...

“Quiet, clean and in a great location!”

We just returned from a week at this resort and plan on returning next year. We had a one bedroom unit on the second floor. The rooms were large, it was immaculate, and it was remarkably quiet.

This is a small property, with a parking garage on the first level, and condo units on the two floors above. There is an elevator from the garage to the two floors above. It is across the street from the beach, which is a quick five minute walk away. It does face the intercoastal on the backside and there is a small canal area that runs down one side of the property. There is a fishing pier off the back, and a deck area with picnic table on that side as well. There is a small but clean pool next to the office, a business area with a single computer and printer, and a pay laundry room. The entire property, while not glitzy, is very clean and well maintained. It is located on Gulf Boulevard, between Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach, in a mostly residential area with lots of restaurants and shops sprinkled along the way. Publix, Winn Dixie and Walmart are all a short drive away on roads going inland.

The unit was large, with a single big bedroom with a comfortable king size bed with four pillows and flat screen TV. The kitchen was exceptionally large and had nice quality pots, pans, dishes, etc. Unlike other timeshares, we found that it included just about every utensil we could think of. Plates, glasses and silverware for six were provided. There was a good size living room with a sleeper sofa, coffee table, two chairs and a cabinet with a flat screen TV. There was a basic full bath with a tub/shower combo, toilet and a vanity with a single sink. In addition, there was another vanity area and another sink just outside that door. The dining area had a large table and six chairs. The unit had a private balcony with a sliding door off the bedroom on the backside, which was in the trees and very private. There was a triple size set of doors from the living room facing the front walkway and the canal, with two white plastic chairs. We had plenty of towels and sheets, and pillows and blankets for the sleeper sofa were in the master closet. There was an iron, ironing board and a small safe in the closet also. When we arrived we found basic supplies (one roll of toilet paper with one replacement, one box of tissues with a spare, a very small bottle of dish liquid, two dishwasher packets, a half a roll of paper towels with one replacement. There was a trashbag in the can, with one replacement in the bottom. Basic kitchen linens included a dishtowel, washrag and pot holders (no sponge). We did not have wireless internet in our room, although it is available in the business office. We were able to log on through our own carrier using a Blackberry in our room, so this was not an issue for us. We noted when we arrived (and did not like) that the two outdoor barbecue grills were charcoal and pretty small. Half way through the week they were removed an a nice large new gas grill was added. There was a general feel that lots of recent updating had been done, which was a good thing.

Pros: location, quiet, cleanliness and overall maintenance of the property, access to both the beach and the intercoastal, friendlness of the staff and the other guests, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, overall spaciousness of the unit, and there are lots of fish around the dock, dolphins in the intercoastal and a manatee that goes in and out of the canal

Cons: the wood furniture (while in good condition) and carpet is older, the office has llimited hours (so that means the business center and laundry facility do as well), there is no free wireless service in the units, people will walk by your front glass doors (although it was very quiet and this was not an issue for us)

Suggestions: If like us you fly in, check what is there before heading to the grocery store. Stop t the dollar store first to pick up paper plates and cups, dish liquid and non-perishable items. Hit the grocery store or Walmart next for the rest of your supplies. There is Publix not far norh (right on Gulf Blvd, right at the light in the center of Indian Rocks onto Walsingham Rd, then a few lights up on the left), and the dollar store and liquor store is right next door. We arrived on a Saturday evening and I was back, fully stocked, by 8:30pm.

“Spacious rooms and great location!”

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday here with my mother-in-law and grandmother and this place was perfect. We were able to get adjoining rooms with two queen beds and tv (with efficiences) and a huge bathroom with walk-in shower and soaking tub on one side. In the adjoining room there was a large living area with tv and dvd, a full kitchen with a huge island, a king bedroom with tv with full bath and double sinks and a private balcony. The front entrance also had a nice sitting area (couch bed also!) with a great view of the waterway. Nice pool and also a nice sitting area and dock over the water in the back for up close bird watching. It was very accessible for my 90 year old grandmother and had covered parking as well. Beach access very close by and also a trolley stop right in front of the building that can take you up to Clearwater Beach for an insanley low price! I searched the area very thoroughly before staying here to find something affordable for 4 people and this place was an incredible bargain!!

Room Tip: If you want 2 queen beds instead of a king make sure to request them when making the reservations.
