We stayed at the Sand Castle II condo rm 901, Dec 24 -31 2011. The condo and Jack Collins realty could not have been any nicer. The condo's view was everything we had hoped for, a spectacular view of the gulf. Even the view of the inter-coastal when entering the condo was beautiful. The only reason I can not give it an excellent rating is because the two back windows in the bedrooms did not have screens on them, so I felt a little uneasy keeping the windows open at night. Overall though, the condo had everything we needed, was very clean, and close to everything. The grounds were also well kept. The heated pool and spa were one of cleanest ones I have seen. We had a great family Christmas

I sayed here with my family and got a great deal on the flight/condo/car package. It was mid winter so too cold for beach swimming but they had the pool and hot tub. The condo was well furnished with kitchen gear, utensiles etc. Very roomy unit. We had fun driving around the Clearwater/Tampa area. My wife is a big fan of Sarasota. Saw the manatees, seabird sanctuary, downtown Tampa etc.

Me and my family stayed at Sand Castle II a while back. Travel agent name was Pamela Carpentier. When we arrived we were told we could not turn the air below 76 degrees because the unit would freeze up. If it froze then we were responsible for having it fixed (via a wonderful sign next to the thermostat). I am sorry but I keep my house cooler than that. I don't need to tell anyone about the heat in June in FL. The condo was decent enough but the carpets were dirty. We phoned the sales person because we didn't want to get blamed for it. Little did I know later that we should have kept a list of things wrong. After we left we were charged an additional $25 for a hole behind the door that was there when we got there. Someone put one of those black rubber patches over it so we assumed management knew about it. That and the uncomfortableness of the condo due to heat made this the worst rental I have ever had. Not worth the $1.4K for seven nights. I will never stay here again. Since then I have found better places in St. Petersburgh within walking distance to the beach for less that half the price.

The location of this condo is great! Restaurants are close, Views are amazing! However, the condo itself is a dump. The showers were so disgusting, we had to wear our flip flops! There were many things that did not work, including the internet and the front burners on the stove.
