“Perfect!!! didn't want to leave”

Long time ago my boyfriend took me here for a nice getaway, since then I love this place! Hotel looks like a huge white barn (totally Key West style), I suggest that you book yourself a suite with a marina view. I swear you will not want to leave. Location is perfect! CVS is near by (walking distance) just in case you forgot to bring something. Publix (food store) is driving distance ( 3mins) you can prepare your own meals since suite comes with full kitchen. If you don't feel like cooking I suggest PJ seafood restaurant, Crabby Billy's or sushi restaurant located next to Crabby Billy's. Hotel it self is clean, beds are comfortable, free WIFI ( you need to get a password from the front desk personal), free coffee in the lobby. Nice tiki bar by the pool. Cant wait to go back!

“No problems what so ever!! Love this place!!”

We just got back from staying there, 4 nights. I was worried when I read all the negative reviews. But I can tell you, you've got nothing to worry about!!
Sure there in one elevator, but I found no issue with that, sure the decking in wood, but I didn't find that a problem. When we checked in, late in the evening, one of the employees came out to our truck with a luggage cart, and helped us to our room.
Sure it's not immaculate (I blame this on most peoples lack of respect for other peoples property) Our beds were super clean, the towels were clean, the washroom and kitchen was just as expected, no issues.
I enjoyed waking up in the morning, looking outside at the boats and water, Plus it was a short walk to the beach.
We spend new years eve there, they had a band in the bar, and the place was packed, we stayed in our room since we were all beat from a busy day, and we didn't hear a thing, and we wern't that far from all the action. Once in awhile you could hear someone walking around outside, or wheeling a cart back and forth, but you can get that anywhere.
We will be back again next year, I can't wait!!

Room Tip: Spend the extra, and get a Marina view.

“Interesting Stay, Interesting Holiday Inn”

This hotel is located on the site of a failed housing development. They converted it into a Holiday Inn. Its a completely open hotel. No security. Anyone can walk up to your room by land or water. Also the rooms are12 feet in the air on up. Get ready for some stair climbing. One elevator that is busy and small. One or two luggage carts available if you can find them, (Wedding parties tend to take them and store in their rooms.) This place is a wedding factory on the weekends. The wedding parties take the place over and can be rowdy in the evening. Overall condition of hotel is ok but the decking needs replacement. What you walk around on is rotting wood. Time for some Trex decking. Near beach. Bars are ok. Hotel Food Places-Expensive. Go 2 blocks and a lot of cheap good places to eat nearby. You will park your car in a dark parking garage. Employees friendly.Expensive mini golf. No Kids Eat Free unless paying full prices on rooms. Basically a easy going Holiday Inn in need of some basic improvements but not a bad hotel.

Room Tip: Unless you like Stair Climbing, 1st Floor to the North.

“BEWARE of musty, smoke smelling rooms!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

Stayed there for a company holiday party. Requested a King-size, non-smoking room but got stuck with a 2 bed, NASTY smoking room. It was the worst room experience in my 52 years on this planet. Tried to change rooms but they were 100% occupied and couldn't help. The first call to the front desk was very unresponsive and unsympathetic. After the second call they said they would send someone to try to aerify the room out. They brought a little machine and spayed a ton of deoderizer (or some chemical concoction) which really only made matters worse. Now not only did we have to put up with this musty smell, but our throats were burning from the chemical. We took all our belongings and locked them in the car overnight so as not to ruin them. We also left the room wide open for th3 4-5 hours we were at the party in hopes that it would air out. Unfortunately, none of this helped. Woke up in the middle of the night with our lungs full of who knows what. IT WAS AWFUL!!! Made one last call to the front office and they were unresponsive. The food at the party was great, but the room and front desk were unacceptable. They offered no restitution whatever. I can assure you that I will NEVER stay here or recommend it to anybody else.

“No need to leave”

Stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. This place isn't enclosed by four walls on the outside. You step out of your room and you can feel the breeze and see the weather. It is really nice. We first stayed in a room that did not have a view, and it was a bit small but comfortable. The amenities were all really nice. Then we switched rooms for the next two nights. We moved into a very large suite with a full kitchen and living area. Our room overlooked the harbor and I'd say that you should definitely get one of those rooms if you stay there.

The pool was great along with the poolside bar. Also the walk to the beach was short, there is a cvs right there is you need anything, and there is a very happening bar/restaurant also right there called Crabby Bills.

We couldn't afford some of the fancier ocean side places, and we also didn't want to get some cheap place just cause it was on the water. This place was the perfect medium for us and I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay on the harbor side!
