Having lived years ago in the Clearwater/St. Pete area, I was excited to take my brother back to my old stomping grounds for a week on the beach. We chose Tommys and were so glad we did. First - Jan and Tom and are fantastic owners with sweet spirits and a desire to make their guests truly feel like they are at home. Everything was prepared just as they said and when we walked in, we knew immediately we made the right choice. Jan and Tom called to make sure we were satisfied and let us know they were close enough to help if we needed anything,otherwise, they told us they would leave us be to enjoy the solitude of the Gulf. Second - the beach house units are impeccably clean and decorated to make you feel like you're in a true Florida beach house. Third - the location is perfect. Close to all the best places to eat and an easy drive to nighlife but far enough away to feel semi-isolated. The facilities are more than adequate and the beach/gulf access is unbeatable. The owners, Jan & Tom, are also delightful and enhance your stay there with their friendliness and life-long knowledge of the area and it's attractions big and small.

We are on our way home from a week stay. It was beyond our expectations. From the moment you step out of car the beach and ocean are waiting for you. They have everything you could ever need. Very clean. The ocean is crystal blue. The kids were able to snorkel and found tons of shells and sand dollars. Calm waves and perfect sunsets.

First off you will not find a cleaner place. People who own this property clean it, not a cleaning company. Its not new, in fact its a retro place, meaning it looks like the 60's all the way back to the pink and black bathroom tile. Reminded me of the cabin my grandparents used to have as a little boy at the lake but with a bleach flair. Three room unit, two up and one ground with laundry room by the carport. Excellent location after you find it. Its on the beach and your courtyard end at the sand. Tommys is behind Tai Pan Alley Restaurant, use the alley behind Tai Pan. Dont let the alley thing bother you at all, technical it may not be a alley anyway. They have everything for the beach, gas grills, towels, umbrellas, two kinds of chairs, floaty toys, fishing equipment and lawn games.
