We had a King bed ocean view room on the 7th floor. Spectacular view. Two of the mornings we saw dolphins swimming. Will spring for a balcony next time.
Bed was good. The bathroom was different, but it had everything we needed and everything worked great. No wifi, but I was there more to get away from the internet, so, I did not care.
People were friendly.
Bar is expensive, but that is what I expected given its location and experience. There is a great place right across the street.
No complimentary breakfast, but we knew that going in.
I did not see a place in the area with a better locaton, would definitely go back.

Wonderful beach. We saw dolphins swimming in the ocean both mornings we were there. We saw little bright blue jellyfish. Lots of shells. The pool was nice and tiki bar was great. You can rent things from a really nice guy on the beach at the hotel. We're a big family staying in the penthouse and it wasn't big enough for us. Wish there was more room, but we were on the beach most the time. The bathrooms were too big; wasted space. Not enough sleeping space. The kids didn't like the bathroom doors, not very private. The balcony was huge! Friendly beach, mostly older people.

I stayed with my brother and sister-in-law for New Years Eve back in 2008-2009. We had a great time. It's right on the beach, with its own private entrance, a hot tub, swimming pool, and tiki bar. Our bartender most nights was April, who was an absolute pleasure to hang out with.

This is our second trip to this jewel and far more our type of property than the much larger Marriott resort at the southern end of the island. Not exactly the typical Courtyard with fridge, microwave and safe in every room and one beautiful beach just mere feet from the northern side door which opens on to a spacious pool area with a spacious hot tub featuring its own waterfall. Unfortunately they have eliminated the breakfast buffet and replaced it with lack-luster, over-priced bistro. The staff tends to be accomodating and courteous most anytime day or night... even when we arrived very late and the desk clerk was in the midst of running the nightly audit. Of particular note is the ocean view available from the upper floor balconies and the care provided by the out-sourced beach staff, Joe & Chubbs who looked after our needs for the week at a quite reasonable rate.
