We stayed one night at Days Inn before our cruise on Jan 21. The hotel is aged but clean. The breakfast is o.k. but crowded. We chose this hotel because of the shuttle bus services. But we ended up getting a taxi from the airport. After we collected our luggage at the airport, we tried to call the hotel. It took at least 10 minutes before we managed to speak with someone. The lady told us to go to the pickup point and said the shuttle would come within 30 mins. We waited 45 mins and the shuttle bus showed up but it was full. The driver told us that another shuttle bus would come in 15 mins. We waited another 25 mins before the next shuttle bus showed up but the driver said there was only 1 seat left (we have 4 people). We finally gave up and called a taxi (cost $25). We later heard that some guests waited 2 hours for the shuttle bus. As to the shuttle to the Port, it was much better organized as you need to get the tickets from the front desk in order to secure your time. We got the tickets for 1pm and the shuttle was on time. There was not much to do near to the hotel. In the morning, we took a taxi to the Hollywood Broadwalk (about 20 mins ride and cost $15 one way). The beach is beautiful and worth it.
