Visited this casino Nov.2011 and planned to come back to stay at hotel and so glad we did. What a great pool area. Very modern with super friendly staff. Rooms also new and modern. Lots of restaurant choices most with outdoor seating. Would stay here again if we could get a good deal.

Don't understand the "Smokey" review! There was a large non-smoking slots area for the non-smokers. I thought the entire place smelled very fresh and it was obvious that the management took great strides to keep the place fresh and clean. The service was great, good food, wonderful rooms. What a wonderful facility; good shopping, good restaurants, good shows. Rivals anything in Vegas.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. There was an event being held at the arena that we were going to, so it seemed to make sense to stay here. We had stayed at the Hard Rock in Orlando, and loved it. If you like casinos, it's a great place. We aren't gamblers, so it was very hectic and crowded by people who were just coming in for the casino. However, during the day, the pool area was lovely and quiet. I saw a smoke free casino, but other than that, people are allowed to smoke everywhere. I am not used to it anymore, and found it bothered me tremendously. In true Hard Rock tradition though, the place is top-notch in service and amenities.

This is our second time to the Hard Rock. The first time was in September and now we went back for one night in January, 2012. We had fun again, didn't hit the big one BUT the biggest issue this trip was the SMOKE. I understand that gamblers are smokers, we just happen to not smoke. Our adult son was with us and his allergies went haywire as soon as we entered the lobby. I've been in most casinos in Las Vegas and they handle the smoke much better that the Hard Rock. It was really a problem for us, I am sure we would have gambled more had it not been for the smoke. Perhaps they need a better air handler. Like the shops and walkway outside the casino although we waited for the music/water show in the lake ... well the music came but the water did not. Maybe it was broken? Anyway, a little disappointed this time in the Hard Rock although I must say the Blue Plate breakfast is fabulous. They really know how to make an omelet!
