This is a beautiful, quaint and friendly place to stay. The staff is terrific! Philip is tops and the newest member, Glen is a doll! We stayed 3 nights, over New Year's in probably one of the smallest if not the smallest room and it didn't matter one iota since you want to sit out in the gardens ALL the time and we did when we weren't on the Boardwalk. We will be back!

What an outstanding display of customer service. You will not get the attention nor customer service displayed at large chain , that we recieved from Philip and the staff at the Ocean Inn. What a relaxing well managed and enjoyable group of people.

We were heading from New England to Port Everglades for a December cruise and given the unpredictable nature of New England weather, figured we had better plan to arrive in FL a couple days early just in case. What a treat to find the Ocean Inn, a small place right on North Ocean Drive in Hollywood. We had two rooms (five of us) and both were clean, comfortable and all the space we needed. Just one block off the beach so very convenient (but not actually on the beach which made it more quiet). Breakfast was simple, but plenty and filling, and the fresh baked muffins were wonderful. For us, one of the best prizes was the central courtyard. Quiet, protected from the wind, but with enough sun for the sun worshipers in our family, and a place to just relax, play cards, or in my daughter's case, finish that last term paper before our trip. The managers, Philip and Gary, were friendly, cordial and provided excellent suggestions for short trips and restaurants. If we are back in that area (any place from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami) we will certainly return.

This is the second time I've had the pleasure of staying at the Ocean Inn. The location is fabulous - a short block to the Hollywood Broadwalk and the beach. I appreciated the tastefully decorated and immaculately clean room (thanks Pilar!) and fresh coffee and muffins in the AM . Philip, Glenn and Scott are cheerful, helpful and fun hosts and not above spoiling the guests with late night milk and cookies.
