Our first room we checked into had trash in the bathroom and the air conditioner started smelling when we turned it on. Moved across the hall. After a sad day of my mother in laws funeral we came back and our room was not cleaned. The do not disturb sign was not posted, it was on the inside of the door! NO BREAKFAST AT ALL! A real shame! Do yourself a favor and find another hotel in the area!

While visiting friends in the Inverness area, we selected this motel because the price was relatively low for a "pet-friendly" motel. Since we only wanted a place to sleep for a couple of nights, this motel was O.K. We didn't expect first-class accommodations, but had expected a less remote location. Fortunately, the Mango Grill was close by so we didn't have to drive far for an excellent meal. The hotel staff was very friendly and always available to offer assistance. Although the rooms could use some updating, the beds were clean and comfortable. If you're looking for inexpensive accommodations in the Inverness area, we would recommend this motel.

My wife and I stayed for four days over the Thanksgiving holidays and weren’t too impressed by our stay at this hotel. We expected better. There is maintenance that has been neglected, exterior painting, and interior hallway carpets were worn and looked like they had not been cleaned in some time. We avoided the hotel's breakfast each day as it was very cheap, and really not good at all. Extremely limited selection, poor presentation, and about as appetizing as cardboard. The room was just adequate, with minimal beds and average housekeeping. This hotel needs some serious upgrading to be considered good, otherwise in my opinion it is headed in the wrong direction. I will consider paying a bit more and staying elesewhere on our next visit. .

The front desk staff and cleaning folks were very nice to us, which I appreciate. The sad part is that this hotel has the potential to be really nice, it just needs several management improvements. I would stay here again just because it's better than some of the other options. The room itself is okay and pretty clean, beds are average for comfort. Outside is a well-maintained pool and a gazebo.

One of the biggest negatives is the breakfast - we watched them reuse the leftovers day after day, including rebottling the milk and setting out the brown bananas that another reviewer mentioned. If were managing the place, I would work on improving breakfast, we always really look forward to that and this one is pretty depressing. Another negative is that a cigarette smoke smell kept coming into our room, even though the entire hall was supposed to be non-smoking. The towels are ragged and need to be replaced. There are just a few improvements that would really improve this place and make it top-notch.
