“Quite nice, but covers two hotels (golf and beach resort), which are very different!”
I stayed in both the golf resort (the country club and spa) and the beach resort - they do not have a separate websites for them and market them as the same thing, even though they are different and not really walkable so it is kind of confusing.
Golf resort (country club) - I stayed here first. I had some query I needed help with and the reception staff were slightly awkward towards me, not the most friendly or helpful I have to say (this was just one person). The hotel itself is nice, but maybe some parts are a bit tired. The room was ok, nothing amazing, but comfortable and big. I had a poor view of the tops of some buildings, just bad luck I guess. The tv was big and clumpy, they hadnt upgraded to flatscreen yet. The bathroom was nice but I think the lighting too low (as a female good lighting in the bathroom is a must!) The bed was very comfy I do recall!
Beach resort - my "sea view" meant that I had to lean right over my balcony for a glimpse! The room was nice though, and modern (much more so than the golf resort). Nice bathroom too. Only annoyance was the very loud generator I could hear if I opened the balcony doors, but probably not much which can be done about that. Again I found the fron desk staff ok, not the most friendly or helpful I have dealt with.
Overall for me it was nice but not amazing. I was only there for work anyway, but I didnt feel as welcome as with some other hotels. But I think if I was in the beach resort hotel for holiday I would be happy enough.
