My mother and I stayed there for about 6 days and it wasn't bad, but wasn't so good either. When we arrived, the front desk staff made some comment about how "oh my credit card works" because I chose to pay at check out instead of at check in. When it was clearly stated on the website and in my confirmation email that paying at check out was fine. Sign #1 that this place was ghetto. We had stayed here before some years ago and while it wasn't 5 star then, the staff tried and at least the pool worked. Now it seems that the owner is giving up somewhat. Then my brother informs us again that this area is prostitution row but we never saw any seriously shady characters, perhaps because it was Christmas.

Some of the front desk staff could be friendlier. Afterall you chose them, doesn't that warrant some kind of greeting? The cleaning staff meant well, but there was a language barrier and they were afraid to come into the room while we were there,kind of strange. My mother kept saying the place was jinxed, starting to agree with her. If it wasn't Christmas with everything booked and expensive, I wouldn't have stayed. This was the last time. Will be saving up for a better hotel in the future.

This is hands down the nastiest place we have ever spent the night (and we have traveled to some 3rd world countries/slept on airport floors). We reserved it last minute for a Gator game because it was the only hotel available. Now we know why. The bathroom doorway had vomit stains on it. There were no fitted sheets so I ended up on the nasty mattress as I slept. We still have itchy bumps on our arms after this stay. Next time I will save some money and sleep in a dumpster or gutter...probably would be cleaner. Never saw cleaning staff or cart during stay. Pool was closed. Shower sucked, kept going hot and cold so we couldn't even wash the funk off! Gross!!!

I am too suprised that Days Inn would attach their name to this hotel. I know it is not the newest hotel but it is like the management/owner takes no pride in the hotel. There were bugs in the room and the hotel staff did not seem the least bit suprised. The mattresses are not wraped and then instead of putting a fitted sheet on the bed they just lay a flat sheet on top of the mattress. It was very dirty the whole place. The showers do not drain. I would have rather slept in a car. Oh yeah, and the pool is still out of order.

This is one of the most disgusting hotels that we have ever been in. My family arrived in the late afternoon to register for our rooms, but we did not go to our room right away. After returning from dinner, we entered our rooms. It was disgusting. We pulled the sheets back and there were bed bugs crawling on the sheets. We noticed hairs under the pillows. The floor looked like it had never been vacuumed. Our other family had a room that reeked of smoke and also had bed bugs. The pool was green. (This pool must not have been fixed in years according to some previous posts from a few years ago). We went to management and got a refund. We would rather sleep in our car than this dump. This place should be condemned.
