We stay in hotels at least twice a month, this weekend i decided to look for more affordable rate and the price on this was great! I was nervous after reading the reviews but we had 2 rooms which were clean and better than i expected for what price I paid! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got to bring my little Yorkie for a a very reasonable price.
The only complaint was in 1 room I experienced water that was not as hot as i like in the morning. Over all We enjoyed our stay.

We stopped by this roach-hole to look around to see if things have improved from over 3 years ago. They are the same if not worse. Not only did they lose their Clarion Hotel franchise, but the same song about positive changes and a new direction has been playing for the last 3 years, and this hotel is still disgusting. I can not believe the chamber of commerce allows such a worthless hospitality facility to remain open and give Gainesville such a bad name. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We didn't experience the horrors that other patrons did. Disappointed the Bar was not open, but our room was reasonably clean, we had hot water in the morning and the TV and A/C worked fine, and there was no peeling paint. We did find it curious that on a game night we were about the only people staying there. Only a few other cars. Certainly not a four-star, but worth the money.

This hotel is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Unfortunately it was a game weekend and we could not find another room. Unidentifiable stains on almost everything, towels, sheets, pillow cases and curtains. The lighting is terrible and even the plastic garbage can was dirty and broken. Little to no hot water in the AM, rust on door jabs and peeling paint in the bathroom. If this is the only hotel available next time we want to go to a game, I'll stay home.
The staff is well aware of the problems and although courteous and apologetic there was not much they could do.
