We have stayed at many Country inns and enjoy them. This one is larger than most and we have stayed there several times. Overall very good place to stay other than the fact they keep rates high because it is close to University of Florida and apparently they can charge a premium and still fill rooms. Once we got there late and ended up with a room that had very bad odor from a smoker. Personal we have run into there were solid in doing there job but did not give the extra feeling of hospitality that you hope for and get in most Country Inns. But if your staying in Gainesville and the rates are reasonable at that time this is a very good choice of where to stay.

I planned to stay in town for one night at the Country Inn. When my trip was extended another day, I opted to stay somewhere else. The bed was adequate, towels and room temp were okay. The hotel lobby and hotel were ovens. Internet, check-in and breakfast were disappointing. The place where I stayed the second day offered a full breakfast at a more reasonable price.

Nothing bad to say about this place. Good location, nice room. Great breakfast. Right beside a Cracker Barrel.

We often stay at this hotel when visiting our children at the U F. The location is convenient, the rooms are comfortable and clean.

I also think everyone should join the free club they offer as they give you nice perks.

We will be back as they always treat you right.
