The Laurel Oak Inn is one of my favorite B&Bs anywhere. The hosts have truly thought of everything...from a glass of wine as you arrive, unreal chocolate cookies for a snack, and beautiful touches in all rooms - we had a fire place and fresh flowers in ours, and a private balcony with rocking chairs complete with blankets for chilly nights! And then there is the breakfast...exquisite! The hosts are there to greet you, give you restaurant advice, and chat about the town. We will be back again and again.

We have traveled to numerous B & B's in North America and Europe. We have developed a high level of expectations. Upon arriving at The Laurel Oak Inn,which was selected online,we were greeted by Monta.We were impressed with his demeanor. He offered us refreshments and a tour of his facility,which was impressive. Our stay at The Laurel Oak Inn was beyond our expectations,with Monta and Peggy's attention to detail including the morning breakfast and overall hospitality. We have found our weekend getaway

We first stayed at the Laurel Oak Inn in 2007 and have stayed there several times since. We fell in love with it the first time and it has never disappointed us. In fact, it gets better each time. The rooms are comfortable, the food is great, the service is marvelous and best of all, it is so relaxing to stay there. We always look forward to our stays at the Laurel Oak Inn and visiting with Monta and Peggy. They are ideal hosts.

We travel to Gainesville on occasion to see family. The facilities, hospitality and breakfasts at this property are first rate. We will return.
