We stayed November 4th and 5th and this is the worst hotel/motel we have ever stayed at.
The carpet is so filthy that it feels grimy to walk on and left dirt stains on our socks and feet.
The towels are so old and worn out that they have thin thread-bare patches and stains. Also each large towel we got had hair in it from previous guests.
The second night, the toilet started leaking all over the floor at the bottom against the tiles when you flushed.
At 3am that morning when I got up to use the bathroom, I saw a bunch of small roaches scatter once the lights went on. I killed a few in the towels and left them for housekeeping to see.
When we went to check out, the desk clerk was rude and defensive when we aired our issues. When we told him about seeing the roaches that morning, his comment was "well, I am surprised you saw roaches this morning when you've been there for two nights."
Not shock at our finding roaches, but surprise that we only saw them on the second night!
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! We were attending a Florida Gator's game and waited too late to book a nice place, and were left with this one.
The only thing they offer is coffee from an old coffee machine in the lobby in the morning, so if you want breakfast, go across the street to the subway.
Also to note, on the second day when we were coming back (after the game) there was a couple who approached us and they were high- rambling about tickets to the game.
This was our first time staying at an American's Best Value Inn and it will be our last. When you try to raise a complaint with the company, they state that they do not actually own the locations, just the name. And the only way to complain is to submit a form online.
Stay away.
Room Tip: Book anywhere but this place unless you like roaches

Thank you for your comments for our hotel.At check in our guest are informed to take advantage of24 hr staffed desk if they have any concern. In this case you did not and at check out when you expressed your concren, an adjustment was made to your folio right away.After that, complaint was filed with our corporate office and I personally responded addressing all the concerns and offered additional discount. Some of the issues listed are not correct to our findings and when we responded, we were noted as rude.Even though our hotel is not the newest in town,we take pride in our service,affordably priced clean rooms,Value and location..we're happy to speak with you directly if there is any unresolved issues.Please contact the hotel directly and ask for me.One thing I am proud of it is that i am not a manager of worst hotel.Our guests has complimented us enough to show that. Thanks you again.
