“Worst place I have ever seen. They stole my credit card!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 March 2011

My son and I booked this room for March 12th. The toilet was broke. The main lights were out, the remote did not work, there was not a phone or an alarm clock in the room.I left the room and told the clerk there was no way i could stay there. He took my credit card for removal of the charge......found out last week they charged my card anyway! I have called several times...manager says the owner will not answer e-mails. I'm seeking legal advice. Do yourself a favor and do not let the pictures fool you! It is absolutely terrible!!!

I work for a hotel and this place needs to be shut down! Let's just list the things that don't work. Bathroom light, one out of three lamps in the room, phone, tv speakers, and last but not least the toilet(worked if you shook the handle). This not a nice place at all, beware of prostitution!

“This is a local prostitution drug dealer hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 March 2011

I stayed here because of the location and the very cheap rates. Big mistake. I found out from a policeman that a lot of locals stay at this motel. When locals stay that means they are dealing drugs or prostituting.

The place was dirty, no towels, and they do not do refunds. No matter what. I left anyway and stayed somewhere else. I felt my safety was more important than the 35$ I lost. There are several hotels near by that are much much better.

Oh and they have signs up saying that they are renovating. I asked about that. It's a lie. I was told that those signs have been up for quite awhile. There just there to make you think they are going to do something about the poor quality of their mote.

“Nightmare!!!”

No stars!!!! I read the reviews but there were literally no other rooms available in Gainesville for this particular holiday weekend. It was truly even worse than I expected. The finale to the worst hotel stay I ever had was when we came back to the room late in the evening to find no maid service that day! It was a dirty room to begin with. I was looking forward to some amount of cleanliness. I had no phone in my room so I called the hotel from my cell. I was told that she would see if she could find some towels. I asked for four. She came up with just two, all she could find! I dare say, I do not believe they were even clean!

“AWFUL!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2010

Please friends, do not stay here! We were attending a Gun Show in the Gainesville Area, looked for a few hotels and this was the closest with the best deal and best pictures...Everything looked fine until the gentleman that checked me in DID NOT ask for my ID. I have been traveling for years, stayed at good, awesome, 5 star, mediocre places, everywhere! and I have ALWAYS been asked for my ID, I just said "Hi, I have a reservation under >>>>>>>" and he gave me the key.... That was it. When we went in the room it WAS NOT like Expedia showed me on their website, I specifically requested the room on the picture and it was something completely different. Carpet was dirty, with stains. Beds looked good but when you really smelledthe sheets they smelled like cigarretes. Bath tub was disgusting (hairs) and the toilet did not flush, no remote control (this isn't 1985 anymore) and alarm clock not working. We were too tired after hours on the road and decided to go ahead and stay. 30 minutes into I started hearing people screaming and laughing and partying without anyone from the staff asking them to lower their voices (I think it's one of those hotels where people live at) they kept on coming back and forward from the ice machine, which happened to be right in front of our room. After 4 hours of no sleep I heard this awful noise, it was like an elephant scream mixed with someone getting stabbed... not kidding... it was coming from the ice machine. Got up, went to the office (4 am) Man at desk said he would change us, after making clear he was doing a charitable thing for us.... On our way to the new unit we had to skip the vomit on the hallway. We arrived to the unit, no soap, no iron, no alarm clock, and the tub was worse than the last one, to the point that since we didn't have any flipflops to take a shower with, we had to put a towel on the tub so we didn't touch the tub. Please do not stay there, do yourself a favor and your family as well. Thanks. (worst $58 spent ever)....
