This hotel is located right off the interstate on a dead end road shared with four other upscale hotels and has plenty of parking. Our room faced the interstate yet we heard no noise. The check in was quick and they have very good coffee out all day. Warm cookies are placed out around 4-7pm along with popcorn. The elevator was quick and the internet even faster. The rooms are large, we had a king suite and everything in the room was clean and comfortable. The hot complimentary breakfast each morning was good. The selection was scrambled eggs with a wonderful flavor, sausage patties, biscuits and sausage gravy, yogurt toast, make your own hot waffles, bananas oranges, juices oatmeal. Within a half mile of the hotel we found walmart, target, publix, dunkin donuts, all the fast food spots and the taco bell burger king and mcdonalds are all open 24hrs. We rate this hotel a 9.9, the staff are very friendly.

We booked here same day cause we were traveling on to Ft. Myers area and wanted to stop and see the town. It was extremely clean and staff were very friendly. Beds were comfortable and it was just what was needed for a one night stay. Only negative was the workout room in the morning was stuffy and hot. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the price.

I looked up hotels in the Gainesville area on Trop Advisor and saw all the excellent comments about Sleep Inn. I was still skeptical and sent my daughter over from UF to check it out before I made a reservation. She said it was clean and the staff was very helpful. They told her about a Gator parent rate and they offered to show her what the rooms looked like. She told me they were nice and clean and booked it. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the bathrooms were in the room...large and granite. I wasn't expecting that. The room was exceptionally clean and large. The weather was pretty bad and I told them I didn't want to drive home in the rain and was considering spending another night. They gave me an even cheaper rate for an additional night and told me I could stay in my room. They said if the weather cleared and I changed my mind they would take the room off with no additional charges. Great value for the money...terrific staff and a free "continental" breakfast consisting of eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, canadian bacon, bagels, danish, muffins, and more. I've stayed in many places in Gainesville since my daughter started at UF, but since discovering the Sleep Inn I can honestly say that the Sleep Inn is the ONLY place I will stay when there.

Bright clean lobby area, very friendly, helpful staff. Had bed/separate sitting area with frig/micro. Room very well appointed with nice furnishings and comfy bed with free Wi-Fi. Impressed with spacious bathroom and very large walk-in shower. Good free hot breakfast and an added bonus of coffee and popcorn in the lobby area during the day.

Checked in by General Manager and couldn't do enough to welcome us and ensure we enjoyed our 1 night stay...even gave us his email to call him directly if there was any problem. He expressed his assurance that he strives to only employ friendly, helpful staff that are interested in doing only their best on the job and what we saw confirmed that. Initially had a coupon for a regular room but upgraded to the suite for a minimal charge and so glad we did but I'm sure all rooms are more than adequate and comfortable.

Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on our way through to Florida and probably will stay longer the next time. Restaurants and shopping located just up the street.

Being from Ontario we were impressed that they provided recycle bins near the elevator for some items.
